Obama is actually responsible for a large portion of the deaths since his takeover. Instead of drawing right down and leaving completely he has only done so half-heartily in Iraq and has expanded the war in Afghanistan. But more ominous is his administration's expansion of the war into Pakistan and Yemen. And as his re-election defeat looks more and more certain he may just dig into the Bush-era bag of tricks and start a war with Iran in the hope that it will win him an election - death and destruction be dammed.
Obama may have kept the American economic system on life support and avoided a crash but his government has been an abysmal failure pretty much everywhere else. Truly - it wouldn't have taken much to out do Bush but here we are... The Democrats deserve to swept out of government - not because the Republicans deserve the chance, but because of their own weak track record.
The world is shifting away from a uni-polar world dominated by America back into a multi-polar world with new players coming onto the scene.
who are the new player? europe is a mess. china, india, etc is full of poverty. obama has been a disappointment. so many thought he'd be different but we should of known. all politicans are theives and liars.
Because they no longer have a reason to complain. The complaining was nothing but propaganda that was used against a President who's ideology they opposed. Now that the left has a President who's ideology is the same or close to their own, the reason to complain has nearly vanished.
If you revisit the last 6-7 years when Bush was in office, Liberals complained 24/7, I'm sure you remember, they made a issue out of every US casualty reported, They even exploited the parents of dead soldiers, people like Cindy Sheehan who were used as pawns for their anti-war propaganda campaign. They picketed outside the White House with signs calling Bush/Cheney every name you can possibly think of... But after Obama was sworn in, all that stopped.
This same kind of anti-war rhetoric came from Liberal members on this forum, members who b*tched and moaned about the war under Bush but are now silent under Obama.... As citizens of this great country we all have a right to oppose or protest against something we feel is wrong or unjust, but to protest against the SAME cause under one President and NOT the other purely because of ideology or party affiliation, I'm going to call them out for what they are, "Intellectually dishonest SLIME bags"
Quite amazing how all the anti-war propaganda by the left quickly disappeared when Obama was sworn into office, It was as though American soldiers suddenly stopped dying in Iraq and Afghanistan... That's what the left wing media would have you believe....
