The whole world should be concerned. Egypt is one of the more powerful nations in the middle east. Iran is kept in check with the more stable countries in the area and their outside influences (USA, Russia, EU, etc..).

If Egypt goes Sharia then it will severely shift the balance of power in the whole middle east. Now we'll have two of the most powerful nations in that region ruled by the same laws and if the Muslim Brotherhood gets into power in Egypt, they'll be just as stable as Iran. Iran and Egypt working together could easily get a nuke program going in a few years. It's a good guess that Saudi Arabia will side with whoever is more powerful / offers them more in return.

Fanatical Islam would easily have a strong foothold in the middle east.

No nation would be able to hold off the influence, most of the smaller nations would fall and Israel would be in a tight spot (literally and figuratively). The US / Allied presence in Iraq won't be able to hold it back so it's a good guess that Iraq would fall this way eventually.

Sadly, people always wanted to see peace in the middle east - this is one way to accomplish it because the wars will be spread out of that region.

The Egyptian army attacked the monastery of Saint Pishoy in the Western Desert to demolish a fence that the army claims was built outside the monastery's properties. The army, in an official statement released today, insists that the demolition was "peaceful". There absolutely NOTHING peaceful about this video. The Egyptian army fired live bullets against monks and workers !

it is not a clash , it is a massacre against copts for daring to protest against burning and occuping a church by radical muslims

islamists guarded by egyptian army attacked coptic protesters which then turned into chaos

more than 13 dead and 140 injured and what a coincidence that most if not all of them are copts and they are calling it a clash !!!!!!!

God have mercy upon us and give rest to souls of those martyrs who were killed because they are christians

a christian man slept with muslim girl , and the girl is used to sleep with tons of muslims in the village

this is today's funeral of those christians who lost their lives for keeping the faith and defending their rights, may God rest their souls and give their families patience to tolerate the great loss of those young people

there are two moderate muslims who also lost their lives while trying to guard the christians and hide them inside their houses during the attacks , may God rest their lives and give our country peace and rest
