I never said mankind is the sole producer of greenhouse gas. From time to time we have huge out of control fires, volcanic eruptions, and other naturally occurring events that produce excessive co2 and other GH gases. These are not counted as deliberate human activities causing excessive GH gases.
Much of this is absorbed by plants and oceans as nature intended and if not for the human activity of producing excessive GH gases for the past 150 years, nature would do just fine keeping the problem under control.
From time to time naturally occurring GH gases do escape into our atmosphere but thats ok because a certain amount of GH gases are needed to maintain normal worldwide temperatures and climates. I'm not sure of the amount but its probably around ~300 ppmv.
In other words, plants and oceans natural abilities to absorb co2 are limited and these limits are being surpassed daily by 90 millions tons of co2 and other GH gases because of human activites.
Even though its been here for billions of years, our earth and atmosphere is fragile as proven by previous catastrophes. If we don't find and use a new way of providing energy we will see drastic changes in our temperatures and climates worldwide within the next 90 years or so.
