News Corp (Fox News) Donates $1 Mil to defeat Democrats.

    http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100817/...s_rga_newscorp

They like to brag daily how they are a "fair and balanced" news organization. The Republican Governors Association's sole purpose is to defeat Democratic Governors and here comes Fox news straight into bed with them literally bankrolling Republicans.

Media independent of politics?...fair and balanced?...I've got some great swamp to sell you.

Only 1 Million? There must be a limit....

I'd donate every dollar I could to prevent Obama from driving the Country and our economy off the cliff.

What you WILL NOT see Fox News reporting are its political contributions.

Thankfully, there are other networks to report this.

    http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com...-gop-donation/

(CNN) - The Democratic National Committee called into question Fox News' objectivity Tuesday after it was reported that the cable network's parent company – News Corporation – recently donated $1 million to the Republican Governors Association."

They also contributed $105,000 to dems in the election cycle. I guess that was an attempt to seem "impartial".

Buy a 10:1 margin is hardly impartial.

Also contributing to the RGA (unlimited contributions) was $500,000 by Wellpoint, the largest U.S. Health Insurer.

Honestly, I do not want my news canned, packaged, and presented with the "News Brought to you by the GOP, RNC, and RGA."

    Donations to political parties from the media is nothing new;

    MSNBC Confirms Liberal Media Bias

    Accuracy in Media
    By Roger Aronof

An unusual source-MSNBC-has provided the latest documentation of the liberal bias in the mainstream media. It came in the form of a Bill Dedman article on its website looking at journalists who have given money in recent years to federal candidates, political parties, or political action committees (PAC).

The investigation turned up donations from 143 journalists, including editors, anchors, columnists, reporters and editorial cartoonists, but not executives or publishers.

    ---------------------

Not to mention how much George Soros successfully influenced the Mainstream media using tens of MILLIONS of dollars, and yet we hear no whining from the Liberals or the OP about that. Nope, he only attacks the media he disagrees with, Conservative News organizations who are successful, that's who the Liberals go after.

But your OK with it being brought to you by a group of jackasses at the DNC and Media Matters.

And you DON'T watch Fox News anyway, so WTF does it matter?
