This one is long overdue:
Norm Coleman
Turns out that holding a Senate seat hostage for eight months isn't the best way to win friends and influence people. Go figure. Good move Norm, you ass dragging cry baby. Coleman finally gave up his attempts to retain his Senate seat recently, after dragging the recount through the courts for almost eight months.
Congrats go out to SENATOR Al Franken...suck it right wing crybabies![]()

I don't know if you guys know, that Coleman won on the first count. It was Franken who originally appealed.

And let us not forget that Al Gore NEVER once led Bush in any recount in election 2000.... Much unlike Coleman who had a 726 vote lead after the election, in which he had every right to defend his lead to the very end.
My congrats go to Poker though, for having the courage to openly support the biggest Clown to have ever won a Senate seat, One who robbed the Great State of Minnesota of its political dignity.
Oh we know, and so does Poker, Seems that Poker is having a difficult time defending the FOOL he voted for, so it's bash any Republican he can find fault with... Like it's really going to detract from Obama's incompetence.
LMAO!!!

No, MN law requires an automatic recount if the margin is less that .5%:
http://www.usatoday.com/news/topstor...71997360_x.htm
State law provides for automatic recounts in races decided by a half-percentage point or less.
The recount, ordered by the Secretary of State pursuant to MN election law, resulted in a Franken lead of 225 votes. Coleman took it to court, lost, and then appealed twice. Consequently, the Coleman campaign was ordered to pay $95,000 in appeal costs to Franken.

Next uninformed question? For the record, those ballots, plus the four mistakenly uncounted precinct ones, made a final car trip that morning. They were driven from City Hall to the warehouse — accompanied by three election judges from differing parties.
In the end, Franken claimed 18 of the 32 votes and Coleman got seven. The rest were non-votes or for other candidates.

The tomb raider has spoken....
The "source" was Coleman's lawyer. He made it up. It was indeed reported that he said that. The problem is - it wasn't true. That, among other things, is why Coleman has been ordered to pay damages to Franken - on top of the underlying election decision, for having brought numerous frivolous and false contentions during the process. The story was reported on at least 3 cable news networks and countless local networks, If your going to accuse anyone of lying, you of all people (an Attorney) should look to the source...
I assumed you would have checked that out. But I will correct myself.... you are gullible and misinformed.
Perhaps you didn't notice, but the election of 2000 was not "dragged out". The presidential election occurs on January 8, when the electoral college meets. It happened on time, was presided over by VP Al Gore, and Bush was sworn in on the Constitutionally determined date of January 20th.You ***** about this but I bet you had no problem with Al Gore dragging out the election of 2000??? You liberals really are hypocrites sometimes.
Oh, wait, I forgot, your Constitution doesn't have any amendments past 12 or so...
That electoral college vote included the vote from Florida, which was originally proceeding according to Florida state law until the Bush campaign went to federal court to stop the recount that the State of Florida had ordered, and in which endeavor they succeeded at the federal level.
By the way, I have no quarrel whatsoever with Coleman exercising his right under MN law to appeal the case up to the MN Supreme Court. What bothers me are a lot of the falsehoods put out during the process.

Oh yeah, Instead of believing what 3 major news networks reported, I should of immediately assumed they were all lying and conducted my own investigation before posting here on DNF.... LMAO.
Since your so much more informed than I am, and since the news reported a bold face Lie as you say, where are the retractions from the news networks?

You can easily find those as well.
From the November 16 edition of Fox Broadcasting Co.'s Fox News Sunday:
That was November 16. Funny how you heard the initial rumor, and then went deaf.CHRIS WALLACE (host): All right, I want to ask you both about specific issues involving you.
Governor Pawlenty, you've got a dead-even Senate race in Minnesota. And we'll put up the results, which are really quite extraordinary, just a couple of hundred votes out of almost two and a half million.
There have been allegations from some Republicans that Democrats are trying to steal this election for Al Franken. Do you have full confidence in the secretary of state, who is a Democrat, and also in the canvassing board, to which -- a five-member board to which you appointed two members?
PAWLENTY: Chris, in Minnesota we have a history of clear, transparent, accurate, and fair and legal elections. That's going to happen again here.
The canvassing board is five people. They are invited by the secretary of state, not appointed by me. The governor doesn't have a role. But it's four judges -- all of which have good reputations -- and the secretary of state.
The canvassing board in the state of Minnesota will render a result. This process will be fair and appropriate. I can assure you of that.
WALLACE: Do you -- because there has been some talk in some Republican circles about ballots that were found in --
PAWLENTY: Sure.
WALLACE: -- people's trunks. I mean, is -- is there any sign that there has been any fraud? And two, if there is any fraud, will that be sorted out by the canvassing board?
PAWLENTY: There's a news report in Minnesota that the ballot-in-the-trunk story has now been retracted, that it wasn't accurate.
There are concerning patterns about the changes before the recount starting favoring Al Franken, and some concerns that were raised. But we have to be clear on this. As of this moment, there is no actual evidence of wrongdoing or fraud in the process. If there is, it'll get rooted out and identified aggressively.
But at the moment, there is no actual evidence of that occurring.

Lets see.....we had how many recounts in Florida??? How many months was it drug out to satisfy you liberals. Hell even the New York Times said Bush won and you still can't except it.
I believe I told you that the 14th amendment was never legally ratified. It was rejected by the Southern states and all the border states after the War of Southern Independence.
