Yes it is sad really, seeing what kind of mess we are in right now and how they are still acting.

It's almost as if they don't really care, republicans keep saying the dems are spending way to much. While the dems keep saying the republicans spending, got us into this mess and now we must spend to get out of it.

And the whole time the rich keep taking money off the middle class, and the poor as this is noting more then the rich's pay day. What they don't tell you, is that this mess was made by the rich so they could steal the money. All that money did not just go into space or some thing, they got it in their savings accounts that where it really is.

They are claiming the market's going down is money lost, but that not true because for every dollar lost some one made one from it. They say they took chances on housing, but for every note they was holding some one got that much money from it. Follow the money trail right to the rich's bank accounts, so what I'm saying is all the money that was lost some one got it right ???

The mess we're in is more of a result from the greedy rich's actions that was made possible by the GOP that favored them above and beyond the middle working class.

Well, not really. The markets that have lost value is a result of unbridled greed and corruption. The bush adminstrations hands off policy toward big business allowed them in effect to police and control themselves. Its the same policy they used in regards to big biz pollution laws that has resulted in the USA being the major man made co2 environmental polluter in the world today.

Greed and corruption will always create major problems in the capitalistic markets unless there are laws established and enforced to curtail it.

Well that what I said really, it's the rich's greed and corruption and part of that was the bush admin good friends. And bush set the pace on that, with his good ole boys rule for his terms.

I remember when the Republicans were for smaller gov't and less spending, yet bush and friends have made gov't the largest of all time. and I have no stats but I think he was spending the most $ of all time, too. :(

I'm sorry, but an anonymous attack in which 5 people are killed and a dozen sickened, for the purpose of causing a national panic is... what, to you? The attacks were directed at political and media figures. You think it was some sort of lover's quarrel?

How many people must be killed by a suicide bomb for it to be a "terrorist" act, in your world?

Raider, 9/11 happened on Bush's watch. The "he kept us safe since then" is like saying I haven't strangled any women to death since my second marriage.

BTW John, How that $500 donation you made to Obama's election working for you? Considering the time you made it, it must be sitting in Obama's bank account right now, You always give your hard earned money to the wealthy?
    $500? Ha!

Dear, do keep up with opensecrets.org, I donated $1500 to the Obama campaign in cash, and made other contributions in kind to local campaign offices. My wife made additional cash contributions, and I also donated $250 to Michelle Bachmann's opponent in that MN congressional race.

Your ignorance of campaign finance laws is quite stunning, though, since you seem to believe that these funds are converted to personal ownership of the candidate. If you can demonstrate that, then Obama can be impeached. Go right ahead.

As you know, Obama received a majority of support from voters like myself with over $200,000 in annual income:

And, if you must know, while Obama pledged not to raise taxes on those making under $250K, I do make more than that. I run a small business which not only employs more people than Joe the Plumber, but I'm actually licensed to do what I do.
