Ahh... Phil Berg's site.

I actually met the guy who designed that site, and Berg, when I took a day to attend a hearing in Liberi v. Taitz. It's a hilarious lawsuit in which the East coast birthers - Phil Berg et al. are suing the West coast birthers - Orly Taitz et al. - over mutual accusations of defamation. In some circles, this case in the Eastern District of PA is referred to as the Birtherstan Civil War.

Before you get all wee-weed up over the layout, you should know about the guy who runs it. He is probably twice as old as the average DNF'er. He used to be a truck driver, but was in a disabling accident a few years ago (I believe he said three), which shattered his hip and left him jobless and unable to walk unaided. Having had his life interrupted by the accident, he became a self-taught webmaster and hosting reseller - just as many of you were at some point.

I believe he is deeply misguided and under the influence of a charlatan. But he is sincere, and is not a "clown".

The donations to Berg have largely dried up. He lost an appeal of a $10,000 court sanction against him for what the court called "a laundry list of ethical violations" and was ordered to take ethics classes. Berg's house is also being foreclosed on by Wells Fargo, and he's just about used up the procedural stalling tactics in which he has engaged to avoid being kicked to the curb. The only question at this point is how far Berg will get with his personal bankruptcy case before losing his house.

It's all pretty pathetic, really.

Yes, I read your links. Quite a distinguished bunch of people, eh?

There is something about that name (Phil Berg) that rings a bell. But I may be thinking of someone I used to work with that had a very similar name (add "er" to last name). The guy was very smart (computer IT guy, programmer) but had an explosive temper. That may be why he had a work area not shared with anyone else.

Perhaps we should have put rubber pads on the walls and floor.

Birthers should be checking the drops right about now.

The RNC regged a bunch of names that were anti-Hillary and anti-Obama. Might be a good time to be looking for these.

As I own a whole bunch of Obama domains (obamaism.com etc) I get a constant flurry of nutbar emails, and the sheer variance of insanities and inanities is dazzling. People are literally out of their minds with anger in America, yet while the previous gang looted the country of its treasures and truths, there wasn't a peep.

These birthers are perhaps the same core group making up the bunch who believe the 2012 thingy, believe Oswald did not act alone, believe the moon landing was a hoax, believe in Loch Ness, Saskawtch, BigFoot, SeaMonsters, and so on.

In other words, they are sheeple easily led astray by any authoritative figure - like Capt. Kirk.

Do they have conventions for these conspiracy types, like the Trekkie conventions?

That's right. Phil Berg, who runs obamacrimes, also sued the Bush administration for causing 9/11.

When donations for that dried up, he moved on, and now does the birther thing.

Of course, another one of the founding fathers ideas is that the states choose electors, the electoral college count is determined by a joint session of Congress, and that the president can only be removed by impeachment, not frivolous lawsuits by crazy people. But I guess one picks and chooses which parts of the Constitution one likes in a "noble cause".
