The Obama Deception (Film)

Has anyone here seen this video? I finally got the free time to watch it last night. Not sure what I think about it yet. Some of the "facts" they present do check out (such as Obama being a bold faced liar), while others would be difficult to verify (Bilderberg Group). The film has an obvious conspiracy theory flavor to it, but overall it raises some interesting questions, and at the very worst it inspires independent research.

I'm not going to watch it. He can tell me the sky is green to my face and I wouldn't give a crap as long as we are moving forward with economy and war issues.

The whole premise of the film is the producer's "argument" that Obama will not fix anything, or certainly not anything that matters. Of course watching isn't mandatory. I am simply interested in the thoughts and opinions of those who have seen it, or plan to do so.

But this is how rumors get started. And how people spend more time watching movies about conspiracy theories instead of taking real action. Just saying.

Yes, we are in the political section which means I get to express my opinion. It's not personal.

It's just a pet peeve of mine, that's all. How people suck on bad news and conspiracies like leeches but should instead be inspired to donate to charity or help someone in need. Because it all starts locally with the people around you and it all starts by choosing what we do with our time.

I haven't seen the video yet, but I will.... I doubt that anything in the film will surprise me though, I knew Obama was a bold faced lying piece of crap, long before he was elected.

Political discourse is a pet peeve of yours? We're kicking up a pretty thick cloud of redundancy here, you and I. If you get bored and decide to watch the film, I would be interested in knowing what you thought about it, as it does raise some very interesting questions...

I've seen bits of it. I believe the general argument is something to the effect that Obama administration will function much like the Clinton administration, i.e. - the velvet hammer to Bush and co's iron fist. i.e. dissecting the left-right paradigm to show that they are both pushing the same agenda, just that everyone got so tired of the last administrations hard line approach that they welcome a liberal black president as the perceived antithesis, when in fact it'll really be more of the same BS just under a "kinder, gentler, machine gun hand" to quote Niel Young

How can Obama fix anything? He said himself if the people (Republicans and Democrates both) dont work together, lobbyists will write all the legislation.

Instead of acting like a bunch of 10 year olds at town hall meetings, maybe you Americans should band together and throw the money changers out of the temple. Corporate lobbyists are your real enemy, and right now they have you divided and conquered.

Tia people not paying attention to what these people are and have been doing is the main problem. Giving to a charity might make you feel better about yourself but if that charity is run by a crook your kind giving was useless.

The problem with coming together, is that partisan politics in the United States supersedes politics, it's deeply ingrained in the personal identity of many of it's subscribers, it's even cultish at it's fringes. It's heavily intertwined with all aspects of society, academia, religion, culture, and in some cases even ethnicity and race. It's an absolute masterpiece for anyone with power, and it'll continue to be meticulously maintained to ensure that it stays that way.

Obviously corporate and political interests placed above the interests of the common citizen is the problem, but I'm convinced that any serious attempt at forcing them out of town for good, would mean blood running in the streets. That of course will never happen, because today's so called politically aware tell me that we've evolved since the 18th century, and if we could only figure out a way to travel back in time, we could vote the British monarchy out the North American colonies.

As for Obama himself, it's already crystal clear that he's nothing more than that very thin line between a Free Tibet poster and Elvis Presley. He's as much of a solution for the problems facing the United States, as Bono and Angelina Jolie are to a bloated fly covered African child.

Hate to tell you. Canada is in the same boat as the US. Ultimately this is a World problem. Those Money changers that you are referring to aren't just lobbyists. They are those who run nearly all central banks around the world including yours. IMF, World Bank, etc, etc. It's a rigged game and it's everyone's problem.
