Register Today on DNForum IT'S FREE!Obama speaking in front of the Key Bridge in Arlington, Va. said; “If Congress tells you they don’t have time, they got time to do it. We’ve been in the House of Representatives, what have you guys been debating? John, you’ve been debating a commemorative coin for baseball? You have legislation reaffirming that In God We Trust is our motto. That’s not putting people back to work. I trust in God, but God wants to see us help ourselves by putting people back to work,”
“God” wants us to put Americans back to work today, right now, but God didn’t want us to put Americans back to work in 2009 or 2010 when Democrats controlled both houses of Congress. No, God was too busy asking the Federal Government to ram National Health Care down our throats whether we wanted it or not.
Seriously, using “Gods” name for the purpose of mocking and attacking the Republican party is not only desperate, it’s repulsive… Just as repulsive when Obama unleashed Vice President “Joe Biden” on a campaign of fear mongering, suggesting if Obama’s jobs bill doesn’t pass in the Republican congress, policemen would be layed off and Women will be RAPED, since when are policemen at the scene during a rape?, only Joe knows. Public sector unions are in dire need of another stimulus to assist in the $3 trillion dollars in unfunded pension liabilities, this is what Obama’s jobs bill is really about, pumping another $447 Billion dollars into States and public unions to make up for budget shortfalls, doing little to nothing to help create jobs in the Private sector, No different than the $787 Billion dollar Job Stimulus bill passed in 2009 where 2.5 million Americans lost their jobs after it’s passage.
Whenever you hear Obama pushing for his Jobs bill, it won’t come as any surprise to hear the word “Republican” and “Jobs” in the same sentence, Obama is intentionally trying to associate unemployment with Republicans, blaming them for his own failed and reckless policies of the last 2 1/2 years, always deflecting responsibility instead of accepting it.
The economy and unemployment is Obama’s biggest liability in his re-election campaign, his handlers realize for him to have any chance of winning in 2012, he must shift the unemployment blame to Republicans, brainwashing voters the same way he brainwashed them in 2008 when he placed the blame on President George Bush for all the countries problems at a time when Democrats had the majority in BOTH houses of Congress.

Thank you Katherine and Don... You don't know how much I appreciate that
You mean the message where Obama cherry picked legislation over a Commemorative coin and "In God We Trust" and bashes Republicans for not focusing on jobs instead? Where Obama completely IGNORED the fact that Republicans in the house passed 21 Bills to help create jobs while he roams the country making ATM withdrawals for his re-election campaign?, Where he consistently MISLEADS the American people by detracting from his own failed policies and blames those failures on Republicans? If I didn't make that clear in my original post, I apologize.
Republicans Call on Senate to Pass GOP Jobs Bills
By Matt Cover
November 4, 2011
(CNSNews.com) – House Republicans – led by Policy Committee Chair Rep. Tom Price (R-Ga.) – called on Senate Democrats to bring House-passed jobs legislation to a vote, criticizing Senate Democrats for not passing a budget in 919 days.
“It’s now been 919 days since the Senate has passed a budget. The president has made 49 campaign speeches since he talked about and introduced his jobs plan. Nineteen cities have been visited on his campaign tour, and in that time in this Congress, House Republicans have passed 22 bills to help jobs creators, and the vast majority of them are still sitting in the Senate,” Price said at a Capitol Hill news conference Friday.
Rep. Austin Scott (R-Ga.) noted that in the 919 days since the Senate has passed a budget, the national debt has increased by more than $3 trillion, saying that the failure to pass a budget or to consider GOP jobs legislation was a failure of responsibility for the Senate.
“The national debt, 919 days ago, was $11.1 trillion. Today, it’s $14.9 [trillion]. The number of unemployed people has gone up. Unemployment rates have remained stagnant at a rate that the country simply cannot afford to operate under.”
“We passed a budget in the House,” Scott said. “We understand that [Sen.] Harry Reid (D-Nev.) and the president don’t like that budget, but that does not – that does not – eliminate their obligation to pass a budget through the United States Senate.”
Kansas Rep. Tim Huelskamp (R-Kan.) said that Reid – the Senate Majority leader – should just bring up the stalled House-passed jobs bills.
“Mr. Reid, let these bills come to a vote,” Huelskamp said. “How many days do we have to wait for Sen. Reid and the president of the United States to allow jobs bills to pass and create good jobs?”
Currently, the Senate is voting on individual elements of Obama’s jobs package, which originally failed when Democrats could not break a GOP-led filibuster. Now, Reid is trying to bring each individual element to the floor for a vote.
Senate Republicans, however, continue to defeat efforts to pass Obama’s jobs bill piecemeal.
Price said that partisan fighting in the Senate was no reason for Reid to ignore the House-passed legislation. Instead of fighting over Obama’s failed plan, the Senate should take up the House-passed measures, he argued.
“Just because you can’t get 60 votes on one piece of legislation in the Senate doesn’t mean that you can’t get the 60 votes on something else,” Price explained. “The challenge for leadership is to pass a bill that the Senate can pass. Then, it’ll be different than the House [version], and we’ll go to conference and work on behalf of the American people. The American people are sick and tired of this type of craziness that doesn’t allow the process to work.”
