We already have a security force and the ultimate peace-keeper. The very fact that a so-called peace-keeping force is usually comprised of many nations conveys an air of neutrality, making it more effective and acceptable to the involved parties. What Obama is suggesting here is highly radical and controversial. Any "security force" I have ever seen has weapons at its disposal as an option. I think that at this point he believes his supporters will buy anything he throws at them, even his re-definition of "security force".

59% of the people said they would not want her to run next time, I guess there goes the far rights master plan out the window, they should of done more then just back mccain. It's amazing just how frightened you are. Your lives are literally governed by fear. It's as though without fear, your lives would be meaningless. I feel sorry for you - lose the fear and you will see how to create a better existence for yourselves.
From being babies, we have fear shoved down our throats; "don't do this, don't do that, stay away from..." etc etc. Fear is the major motivator for many people, but it shouldn't be - because it's the cause for virtually all that is bad.
Every single thread started here by a Republican/Bushist/McCainist (and yes, many of the Democrat/Obama threads too) has a theme of fear running through it. If somehow McCain gets elected, it isn't going to ruin my life - I won't let it, because I take control of my life; I don't need anyone to protect me - but some of you guys are already telling yourselves, that if Obama gets in, your lives will turn to crap! You're programming yourselves for failure. Some have even expressed they want to see failure if Obama gets elected, just so they can say that 'they were right'. I mean, how ridiculous is that???

82 degrees in Athens, Greece in November - people rush to the beaches. I don't recall any such event in the 40 years of my life. And all around the world lies resounding proof that humans have caused almost irreversible harm to the environment.
You might hate the messenger, but deal with his message: the world is in a global warming that needs immediate action.
The republicans are just upset that no one pays them any mind anymore, bush has to take meds to help him deal with being a lame duck. They need to remember that once you lie, then every time you make cliams, people research the facts and know you are lieing.

Just for the sake of argument, let's assume carbon emissions are to blame, (which their not) How are you going to get developing countries like China and India to comply? To do what were doing?
