I wish, for once, we were a nation where instead of rooting for a man's failure would root for this country's success. There are children without their Fathers because of the war that is still ongoing. Our country is still in debt. People are still without jobs. Businesses are still losing the ability to provide jobs.

I wish, for once, we were a nation where instead of rooting for a man's failure would take the energy that divides us and use it to accomplish many great things: big and small, become proactive in our communities, help the needs of others and contribute in ways that have a real effect versus venting on a forum.

It is easy to blame a single man when we, in fact, have done little. Regardless of party affiliation, our country is in trouble. To wish his failure is to fail us all. We are all in the same boat. Don't create a hole in it if there are no life boats.

I don't give a Doc Com about the Iran-Contra affair. The media blew it way out of proportion and what is so wrong with trading a few weapons for hostages anyway? Doesn't bother me and anyway they could never link President Reagan to it.

Bush had a full 8 years to run the country into the ground. I am not sure why Obama hasn't fixed everything in 12 months.

The blame Bush thing is old..let it go...we can just keep going back...people wonder why he is losing massive amounts of support...more money added to the national deficit in one year than Bush added in his whole eight...the flat out lies about having healthcare discussion broadcast on CSPAN...he made that as a election promise...the backroom dealings with nebraska & the unions so he could gain their support on obamacare..he has got the govt involved in the mortgage industry, the auto industy, the banking industry, the healthcare industry...do you see a pattern here??...how about protecting terrorist more than our own men & women in the armed forces? he should have already pardened the 3 Navy SEALS who are being courtmarshalled for punching the terrorist mastermind of the contractor killings(hung on bridge) in Iraq in the stomach??? are you kidding me these brave men bought this trash to justice & they are being courtmarshalled for punching him in the stomach?..if he did that he might gain some points..focus on getting people back to work...where are the banks that you promised were going to be lending money to small businesses?..if you focus on getting people back to work & making money , then they will have the money to choose which health care if any is right for them & if the choose not to have any then shouldn't be fined %2 of total income...thats just crazy..we dont need them telling us how we should conduct every aspect of our lives...welfare begets welfare....I think Thomas Jefferson said it best.."The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work & give to those who would not."

Excellent post Big P.... It's refreshing to see a growing number of members on this Forum who actually get it, actually understand why Obama's approval rating continues to drop. Your right, the "Blame Bush" card is not working anymore, Americans realize it's time this President starts accepting responsibility, something he has a real problem doing. Instead of focusing on Health care for the past year, he should of been focusing on jump starting this economy and putting Americans back to work, This should of been his TOP priority from day one, instead he wanted to push his socialized agenda, and even that has failed. One year and over 3 Trillion of OUR dollars, has been WASTED and voters are damn angry about it, including me.
