If by some miracle Sarah Palin is nominated by the republicans to run for president in 2012 it will guarantee another 4 years of democratic leadership. I think most republicans know this and her chances of getting their backing are very slim imho.

Greg can be Sarah Palins running mate. The perfect ticket.
It's called "desperation".
Take a look at what is going on in the GOP and upcoming races.
McCain is trying to distance himself from the word "maverick" (almost the entire platform and battle cry of the McCain/Palin ticket) and now is referring to himself as a "partisan".
The Party of No is sticking on the GOP despite their best effort to say otherwise.
And it will affect the dems as well.
Most importantly, it portrays the GOP's self-implosion when someone like McCain is fighting to keep his own seat in his home state. There was such celebration when Brown won Kennedy's Massachusetts seat and the GOP was celebrating the end of Democrat majority in both houses of congress.
Guess what?
Me thinks that celebration was a little too early and misguided.
No way in hell I would ever vote for Sarah Palin - plain and simple. If she was the only person on the ballot I would write someone in. The last thing this nation needs is someone who seems like a fundamentalist in the presidential office. Of course, both sides (R and D) have had their hand in destroying America it's nothing people can blame on one party and if anyone is at fault it is the lemming-like majority of voters who do extremely little research on their candidates and just keep on voting the same drones in office, just wiht different names.
This country is being run by large corporations, insurance companies, and lawyers, not the American public which is who it is supposed to be run by.

If Obama is the Great Con job, Palin will be the Great Hand job.

I didn't think that it would be politically correct to call Palin the Great Mouth job, but on second thought - that's all she has accomplished.

Title for this thread should be Gregcyber's Grand Con Job on DnForum.
Me thinks you know all about misguiding people, It's what you do best on this forum and this is yet another example.
This is the second time you posted this BS about McCain, comparing him to Brown... I called you out on it once before but here you are again spreading the same misguided crap as you always do.
Here you are comparing a GENERAL Election where Republican Scott Brown defeated a DEMOCRAT, to that of a PRIMARY Election where McCain is in a tight race against REPUBLICAN J.D. Hayworth.... And by drawing this asinine comparison, you want us to think the GOP is self imploding?Your either very stupid or your trying to sell this to your idiotic followers, which by the way are becoming a dying breed on this Forum.
Me thinks your followers are finally waking up to the fact that Obama is a human wrecking ball.

At this point almost ANYONE with a Conservative voice can win against a Democrat, And to think it only took 1 year and 4 months to get to this point.
Obviously, Americans are NOT liking that "HOPE and CHANGE" they were promised.
Please vote Republican in 2012, America can not sustain another 4 years
of Liberal policies that are fiscally and socially destroying the country..

americans are impatient. if mccain had won and he wasn't able to use his old man powers to magically change everything in a year, it would be dems getting in. its just a circle jerk that gets everyone nowhere. the two party system is a joke that does a better job of diving people than even religion.
I personally like Sara Palin and would vote for her over Barack Obama any day. IMO it wont matter who runs against Obama in 2012 they will win. Obama has been nothing but a disaster since day one.

People have short memories. Especially if they think they're getting free stuff. It may require a total financial collapse to have a lasting impression on the masses.

I can't take anybody seriously who looks at Sarah Palin and says, yeah, President Of The United States. Let's be real and say what it is. Just a bunch of horny R that thinks she's going to whip off the glasses and let the hair down like Van Halen's Hot For Teacher video. I guess you missed all the interviews from this last election? She's an embarassment and couldn't handle what was thrown at her. If she runs this time, first she's going to have to get the Republican nomination, that means interviews, that means debates, that means other Republicans are going to tear her apart. So let's pretend we're on Fantasy Island for just a sec and she makes it past that, then she'll get destroyed by Obama. Just for kicks, I hope she runs.

Me thinks those Baggers that believe in a GOP sweep this fall are terribly misguided and misinformed.
Me thinks anyone currently in office running in the fall of 2010 are looking for a lifeline.
Primary or not, AZ may have just signed the GOP death sentence for ANY GOP CANDIDATE with the passage of the illegal alien law yesterday.
As for the BS regarding McCain,
John McCain: A maverick no more?
McCain: I Was a 'Maverick,' Now I'm a 'Partisan'
And, for the reading-comprehension impaired - a comparison of McCain and Brown was not made.
Two distinct and separate statements - one portraying the early celebration proclaiming the death of the Dem majority/sweep for the fall elections and the other portraying the apparent displeasure for any one in office at the moment.
It is called "realism" and these are not perceptions. These are situations that actually exists and are not some perceived notion.
The same situation/political environment exists in Florida. Christ contemplating running as an independent. Why? Because polls (and his own people) show that he is likely not to win the Senate race. By running as an independent, he is likely to split the vote and could potentially win. In fact, those independent candidates all across the country may be a viable threat to all Party candidates.
And for the record, if the State of Arizona believes the federal government has let them down, they have no further to look than their own back yard - actually, to the border. Bush's "virtual fence" was not paid with "virtual money". It was a joke the day it was approved and has been a monumental failure as most sane people knew it would be.
A $6.7 billion project.
$672 million spent thus far
23 miles of fence completed
23 miles along a 2000 mile border
A fence that has yet to work properly
That's $29.22 million per mile
I want my money back.
I also want my money back the Senator Kyl appropriated in the form of an additional $1 billion to pay for the medical care of those that can not pay.
Honestly, it appears that illegal aliens has been good for business (and the pockets) for Arizona.
