the poll never had any credibility

it was devised by a person who is biased against the subject/person which is being polled

nor does the poll compare Obama to Bush in the first "9 months of Office"

and if it did, the "state of the union" is not the same as during Bush's "first 9 months".

the challenges for Obama coming into office are far more difficult than the challenges Bush had when he was elected.

it like comparing two men in a race, Bush gets to run with two legs, but Obama has to run with one leg, blindfolded and in handcuffs...

imo...

"Fair" certainly sounds like a "so-so" category, not a good one.

This is why most polls use 3 or 5 categories - there's a middle one that's neither good nor bad, then equal numbers of good and bad ones. (Something like Excellent / Good / Fair / Poor / Bad.)

Anyway, you could fix up this poll and rerun it, but I doubt that anyone's conclusions would change much.

I think we need a poll to assess the poll.

The economy is generally better than when Bush ended his term.

If you want to blame someone blame the politicians who decided we don't have to regulate wall street.

What World are you living in/on? lol First of all both Bush and Obama are/were politicians involved in all of that. Secondly that red line is nearly double now AS IN OFF THE CHARTS the majority of which has happened within this year.

The economy is generally better than when Bush left office, some random unemployment chart is not going to prove otherwise.

That's just one of many factors. You really are living in fairytale land aren't you?
