Great article Seraphim.

Raider- Its figures that some here want to change the poll. They just don't like the results that are coming in. I really thought with all the Obama supporters here he would have at least of scored a "B".lol

you think because people 'support' obama that they think he is perfect or doing a great job? not everything is so black and white.

F !!!!! His presidency is a disaster. In less than a year, he has weakened our economy, weakened our military, diminished our stature in the world, and backhandedly ignited racial tensions, more dramatically than we could have imagined. You criticize him, you're a racist. Not a taxpaying, concerned American, just a racist. Its a joke !

None of this could be further from the truth. The economy still sucks but in my opinion its better than it was a year ago. Many say Obama is too much like Bush regarding military, he has not pulled out of Iraq and is focusing on Afganistan. Countries around the world sudden had more respect for the States when Obama was elected. Just ask anyone from just about any other country. As for racial tensions, this is hardly Obama's fault. Whatever racial issues people have are their own problems.

Lets tally the votes again.....

A - 6 votes = 30 points
B - 5 votes = 20 points
C - 7 votes = 21 points
D - 1 vote = 2 points
E - 2 votes = 2 points
F - 6 votes = 0 points

Totals: 27 votes for 75 points = 2.77 average(D+)

Obama's moving on up.

Obama's moving on up.
Lets recount these votes so we can all understand whats going on here.

We have 18 votes for "C" or better and we have only half as many or 9 for "D" or worst, yet we're told by the Bush/Cheney Supporter that works out for an average grade of "D+".

Yep....thats Bush/Cheney math alright! Its amazing there are still people gullible enough to believe it!

If I repeat myself, maybe you will listen this time (or maybe not):

1. The poll is clearly biased by having 3 bad choices and only 2 good choices. (If you'll notice, with 6 options ranging from 0 points to 5, the median possible score is a 2.5, so Obama is clearly "above average".)

2. Anyway, in any grading system I've ever seen (and I taught for many years), if 2 = D and 3 = C, a score in the high 2's is either a C or C-. So even with the biased questions, his score is in the "Fair" range.

These are all simple factual and logical statements, and your "D+" comments are sheer ignorant fantasy. Agreed? (It is a wise man who knows when to admit defeat.)

Lol, they put me down for "G.O.O.D." even though I didn't choose a letter, when they said I had to choose a letter in order for my vote to count.

G.O.O.D. = "Get Off Obama's D***"

This poll thread inspired me to write a poem on behalf of the Obama-haters, to show there are no hard feelings:

GRADING OBAMA

A is for getting elected by ACORN
B is for birthers, who know where he was born
C’s for Chicago, whose bid to host Games fails
D’s for dumb Dems who rode in on his coattails
E’s for evading the truth (and tough questions)
F’s for his failure to win re-election
(At least you hope so!)

Now isn't that just dandy!

Not only will the poll's results be published on CNN, you've given Beck some fodder for his next show.

Yes you're correct 0-6 avg. = 3, so 2.77 should be a low C, but not C-.

BTW, I disagree with comment number 1.

Obviously this would not make a statiscally valid poll, but it isn't so far from polls like Rasmussen.

Actually, it's not 0-6, it's 0-5, so the average is 2.5.

I vote for Obama and I am a liberal? I condemn Bush for what he has done to this country and I am a bleeding heart liberal?

So I was to vote for McCain/Palin even though I thought she was one of the most unqualified cretins to ever walk onto a stage?

Whatever flame I had for McCain was quickly extinguished.

If your definition is of someone who would walk in a straight line to the beat of a drum, that is not me.

What is you definition of a conservative? The Moral Majority? Oddly enough, I still believe that evangelicals get a calling to lead others to Christ, not to lead a chosen few to positions of power and wealth.

I am a conservative with a conscious. And that conscious means I do not abide by the status quo simply because that is how they want me to.

You don't want the government to interfere. You want people to do for themselves and not rely on government. That is what a conservatist is.

Yet, I am supposed to lie to my self and to my own consciousness and say that the party that represents the conservatists did not **** this country up for the past eight years?

Here's my list of Republican's I respect..

1.) Ron Paul ( about 90% with him and this is much more than I have thought about any president / candidate)
2.) John McCain (Pre-Palin / Election)
3.) Mitt Romney (Minus his Fanatic beliefs and some of his politics, but has a lot of good points)
4.) Abraham Lincoln (For the obvious)
5.) Theodore Roosevelt (For the obvious)

There are more, but these are the top... many dem's but not much more...

Spot on... Just look at the desperation by Obama cult members, Their taking a simple evaluation poll and demanding that it be a scientific, otherwise it's invalid... LOL

this can't be right;
there are 17 votes for the a,b,c positives and only 9 for the f,e,d negatives. It can only be D+ if you consider anything above D making up the plus.

If D=2 and C=3, 70/26=2.69 and this is closer to C so would make a C-. But it still doesn't seem to fit the 17 to 9 ratio.
Percentages would make this clearer:

A:19.2%
B:19.2%
C:26.9%
D:4% (actually 3.8% but came short 0.02 due to runaway decimals)
C:7.7%
F:23%

65.3% says he does a fair to excellent job.
34,7% says he his job performance is poor to failure
