Obama's State of the Union Address

For those of you who watched, I'd like to read what you thought of it...

I watched it, and for me it was more like a campaign speech... Another con job on the American people... He didn't believe half the crap he was saying, Everything from cutting the corporate tax rate to talking about giving the President power to eliminate earmarks, which HE himself signed a $410 BILLION dollar Omnibus bill loaded with over 9000 earmarks in it.

    Obama came off as a HYPOCRITE like he always does... He said;

Now, the final critical step in winning the future is to make sure we aren't buried under a mountain of debt.
This came from a guy who signed onto spending $4 TRILLION dollars in just 2 years, If he felt it was so "critical" not being buried in a mountain of debt, why do it? And spare me all the bulls*t about saving the economy from collapse.

And where was the mention of California? The highest welfare state in the country where one study estimates the debt at close to $700 BILLION Dollars? Most of which is the result of Public employee pensions and funding to illegal aliens.. But no mention of that, we don't want to open a hornets nest do we?.

The purpose of this speech was to create an "illusion" of him moving to the middle, and the reason for it was because Americans have REJECTED his Liberal Ideology... The recent election where his party was slaughtered and his poll numbers are proof of that.

This "illusion" of moving to the middle was one of the reasons for the lack of applause.. The amount of applause was the lowest I seen in any SOTU address and I've seen them all since Clinton.... Did you notice how Obama would pause briefly to allow for applause and it never came? These are calculated moments written into every speech, Obama stood their dumbfounded, looking on... Biden was trying to help him out by clapping but nobody followed.

Obama is such a joke... He spends like a drunken liberal and then preaches to us about cutting spending, which he's NOT going to do..

Mark my word, our National debt is to increase at least 2 TRILLION more by the time this buffoon leaves office in 2012... It will be over 16 TRILLON when he leaves.. watch.

Unless of course Congress REJECTS Obama's plea to raise the National Debt ceiling again, which I DON'T think Congress should do UNLESS legislation is drafted that includes reducing the debt with drastic cuts in spending, but Obama would have to sign onto that. And my guess is, HE WON'T... What you heard the other night was ALL TALK.

When he brought up a roofing company who re-invented their business, this is just what he's been doing, re-inventing himself for the purpose of driving up his poll numbers.... It was as though he was gearing up for 2012 already... But the problem for Obama is, a growing number of Americans seen right through him, they see through all his bullsh*t... Hopefully for the good of all of us, their will see through it all the way to election day.

Please vote Republican in 2012, America can not sustain another 4 years
of Liberal policies that are fiscally and socially destroying the country.

Good to see someone else with the same thoughts, all Obama's going to do is put us in more debt.

More empty promises, just like any politican. I haven't seen any president live up to what he says but what is he supposed to do? Say things are going to get even shittier than they are now? He has to try and be positive and say what people want to hear. Thats what gets people in office. Lies. Nothing new. Every politican does it.

I hate to say this but you are absolutely correct, I don't understand why Obama isn't addressing the War on Drugs, he just ignores it.

I wish I could have just one hour to talk to president Obama and let him know what needs to be changed immediately. We're not going to get anywhere until people in congress can learn to make compromises and think of other people, not just themselves. Unless Obama attempts to make some extreme changes soon, his ratings are going to be going down and down. More and more people will start rebelling and things could get out of control soon.

Why were you not declaring this brilliant revelation before he was elected? Obama is a lying snake oil salesman, but that's ok according to you (obvious bias), because they all are. No, fortunately, they are not all like Obama. Regardless, it most certainly does not make him unaccountable. That's the important part. In fact, it more than likely makes him impeachable. Even though some people seem to forget, Clinton knows all about that.

Can you name a single president who honestly said it like it is and kept his promises? And don't say Reagan. He was one of the biggest puppets. Honestly i had some hope for Obama but its turned out to just be business as usual unfortunately. I am not saying what is happening is ok but had mccain won things would be no different. They're all just puppets unfortunately.
