I remember going to pick out a coffin for someone in our family, and I kid you not, they had a box that looked like a vegetable crate. I think the price was $150 or something like that, The top of the line one was about 8K, Don't look to Government to spend that much.

The Democrats also control both houses of Congress, with a filibuster proof Senate, Meaning that if all Democrats voted for a bill like National Health care, IT WOULD PASS, even if every Republican voted against it!.

He says the economy is his #1 priority, So WTF are we talking about National health care at a time when we cant even afford it?

The American people had high hopes this President would lift the country out of the recession, but when they see reckless spending like throwing more TARP money at wall street and the auto industry, and the $787 Billion Dollar stimulus that has NOTHING to stimulate the economy and create new jobs in the private sector, they become outraged... Bush didn't do that, your hero Obama and his pals in congress did that.

The time has come to pull your head out of your a*s, and acknowledge the idiot you continue to support, is leading America down the WRONG path.

i am not blind to all of that. Nor am I blind to think that the family name and the fact that the alleged rape happened at the Kennedy home in florida got his nephew off - that and a jury found him not guilty.

Without first hand knowledge or being an actual participant, all is conjecture.

What is not conjecture is what the man did for our nation in terms of human rights, civil rights, the rights of the disabled and the rights of immigrants.

That, those deeds, are the enlightenment and the legacy he will be known and remembered for.

Let's see Bush gets into office with the United States running a budget surplus for over 4 years in a row. IT WAS FIRST TIME IN OVER 20 YEARS WE HAD A SURPLUS! :

So what does Bush do? He and his Republican controlled congress cut taxes and then just decide to run up the deficit for eight years after we were finally making progress on paying off the debt.

Instead of investing in America's aging infrastructure Bush threw money in a war based on lies. But that still doesn't bother the Republicans because they somehow believe attacking Iraq has made America safer. Perhaps it's because Bush and Cheney lied about a link between Saddam and 911 and many uniformed Americans still believe this:

Now with taxes cut by Bush that lead to record setting budget deficits, Republicans have magically woke up and are screaming about the deficits. They then start screaming about Obama trying to put taxes where they were before Bush started the deficit machine which got us to this point. Talk about being complete hypocrites.

You can't run a country into the ground for 8 years and blame it on the new guy with any credibility. As far as I'm concerned Republicans made their bed as fiscal derelicts and it is insulting to hear them blame Obama for this mess they made.
