I have a lot of respect for Ron Paul. Although I don't agree with all his positions he is very honest and represents what I consider true conservative views and values. If Ron Paul was listened to and his words heeded during the Bush reign I think America would be a in a lot better shape today....

At 14, I was banging my 16 year old neighbor on the picnic table in her backyard.

At 15, I stole my first car.

This kid needs to be a kid and let them hormones out.

Otherwise he will have no life, realize he missed out on something, and likely shoot himself in his study one night at age 29.

Most professionals start out very young.

Banging at 14 = STD
Riding in cars at 15 = Criminal conviction.
Doing both above and getting away = Priceless brain damage or disturbed thoughts.

Some of us are late bloomers and have to find our way in life.

Took a little while for me.

I would not change a thing for all the experiences I have had, the memories, the friends, and lives that have touched me and I have touched them.

Being a grown up at 14 is no way to live.

Ask all the runaway 13, 14, 15, and 16 year old what it is like to be in an environment and a society of grown ups. I had to do it when I was 16.

Do you think every one of us were born with the sacred silver spoon and had private tutors, professional trainers and instruction, nannies and prep and boarding schools?

Denying a problem exists is running from oneself.

I would guess 1% have the the parents that support the golden spoon life.

I would say 10 to 15% live in a 3 rd world environment on US land.

15 to 25% had loving parents that taught them to live a enjoyable life.

The rest (60 to 75%) are your common Americans that struggle every day.

And in my profession, I was seeing 100% of them every day.

Just playin' with you Doc. My friend and I were arrested at 15 for stealing his parents car in the middle of the night. Thankfully they didn't press charges, and thus we were let off easy. Was one hell of a memory...

This story reminds me of the 15 year old here in the state that was called to preach the word of God and preach he did.

He would carry the bible and read aloud from it all of his waking hours and when I say read aloud, he read A LOUD!

He was shouting the scriptures in class and in school and when he was expelled he stood outside the building and continued.

He was then issue a summons because his shouting was disrupting the school as the classrooms could still hear him.

Eventually he had to stay xxx feet away from the school which was a pretty good distance.

My point is this:

Whether this kid is the next Messiah, only time will tell.

Whether Jonathan is the next Ronald Reagan, only time will tell.

In the case of Jonation, the 14 year old political expert, why is it a group of adults are parading him in front of audiences to tell the adults in the audience how to think, act, and see things?

That to me it the real humor in all of this.

I guess it is a matter of getting back to simplicity and seeing things through a child's eyes.

The kid is no prodigy and possesses no other-worldly gift other than the gift of reading and comprehension - something many adults have yet to master.
