I was about to write a scathing comment.... but then noticed the fine print

This is impractical as it would have a substantial effect on farmers who depend on their large quantities of land.

Levying tax after tax is inefficient, as it does not make up for poor government spending with the funds they already have.

The worst part is that people just don't seem to realize that "government money" is really their own money that people like them have given to the government.

The only other way the Democrats can Tax the rich is to impose heavy taxes on land owners.
The way I see it coming down, If you own more then 1/4 acre of land, you will have to pay taxes that increase for every acre you own.
First Acre taxes $100.00
Second Acre $125.00
Three Acres $150.00

Today you pay $25.00 per acer.
