She shoved him, and from the point of view I saw, he could have easily interpreted it as a punch. An officer has a right to defend himself (or herself) in the event that someone becomes violent. It doesn't matter what skin color you are, but if you act like an animal, you deserve to be treated like one. Pulling the "race card" and this new sense of entitlement because of Obama's race is really starting to get old.

This "black attitude" crap being peddled by rap / hip hop musicians doesn't help things. Why not embrace the past and make something of yourself instead of becoming a stereotype?

The girls that called the police officer a white man, it appeared to me that they had racial attitudes (hate crime) and that too should be addressed in the courts. They assaulted the white man and resisted arrest because he has white skin.
I did not hear that, if thats the case - HATE CRIME deserves a Punch!

Here is a good rule of thumb - If you don't want to get punched in the head don't push a police officer.

"These ****ing white people attacking me and treating my like a felon for Jay Walking"

I remember I was at a hospital one time where my Grandmother was, my Great Aunt was down stairs trying to buy a candy in the vending machine, the candy got stuck and this little old lady (her) was trying to rock the vending machine. I seen her as I was coming out of the elevator, next thing I see is a cop walking up to her, then pushing and yelling at her, I ran over there and asked him if he was ****ing crazy, pushing a old lady to the floor because she was rocking a vending machine.

He didn't seem to care then proceeded to push both of us out of the hospital, my mother was in the front of the hospital with the car waiting for us, she see's this cop pushing us, gets out and asks whats going on, the cop curses at her like a ****ing psychopath, she doesn't say anything, her friend happens to be one of the 'higher ups' in that county/city, calls them, lets them know whats going on, they say there on the way, not to go anywhere, stay right there.

While we are waiting on the other cops to show up, this guy is just harassing us the whole time, wouldn't get his hands off of us, even though we are just trying to sit on a bench and wait. The whole time he is being very rude and using profanity, my Aunt was pissed off already, feeling completely violated and responds back to him saying he isn't a real cop and he should be ashamed of himself... he then tries to tell us we need to leave or he is arresting us for loitering/trespassing, we explain the other cops told us not to leave that they are on there way, he grabs me by the wrist, pulls my arm behind my back, and slams me into the wall to hand cuff me.

At this point there are about 15 people around, just watching everything that is happening.. other people around go to grab him off me saying I have done nothing wrong and he is just trying to hit them with his baton then threatening to taser them, when he sees all these people coming to defend me/us, he lets me go then kicks me in the back of my knees, withdrawals his gun and begins to threaten us if we don't leave there is going to be serious problems.

As we are walking to our car he pushes my Aunt once again to the floor, I had enough at this point and called him a ****ing scumbag piece of shit... finally the other cops show up... we were question and interrogated like we did something wrong, he said we were lying and nothing of what we were saying was true. The cops go and question all the other people that were around and check the video tape to confirm in fact that everything we had said is true.

The cop gets a 3 month suspension without pay, we didn't file any suit or charges, which I do regret, greatly, but I honestly thought he was going to lose his job.

I have a LOT of patience for cops, considering I have a few friends that are cops and I know from stories the shit they got to deal with, but this guy was out of control, and this cop here who punched this girl, was way out of line. ALL because of jay walking? LOL.... get a life.

That is what he initially stopped them for - he already had someone else for jaywalking. I highly doubt they were being arrested for jaywalking - that's usually a situation where they get a citation and go on their way.

But - as any officer knows, any minor offense can change quickly. How often is someone stopped for a tail light out only to find drugs and weapons in the car? How often does a driver get belligerent over something simple. I'm willing to bet the alleged "victims" in this did something or there was something else going on that warranted their arrest.

What really sickens me is that this clearly anti-police mob is forming around him - shouting derogatory comments at him also. When the backup came they tried to clear out an area when people were clearly trying to get back into the officers' faces. I'm actually surprised he didn't pull out his tazer or pepper spray.

Of course we all know "hate" crimes against the "majority" are rarely enforced.

Judging by the symphony of crickets presiding over the tiny minority of non-apartheid affiliated whites being exterminated in South Africa, it almost appears as though a "hate crime" is only something a white person can commit. Not surprising though, when one considers it's pretty much the same for almost all applications of the term "racism", which in itself has become nothing more than a charade of anti-white reverse discrimination and self pity, albeit some rare exceptions. Strange times we live in...

Completely agree with exponent and bmugford.

You assault somebody you don't know, Officer or Civilian and your just asking from trouble. Never give a police officer an excuse to use force, because they'll take it most every time.

She assaulted him (APO) and he assaulted her (Simple Assault). two assaults here....they were both wrong. The problem is APO - assault on a police officer carries a much stiffer penalty than simple assault.
