But I think it should be extended to every American who had to listen to him
Perhaps, you should ask the nursing staff on your ward if they can change the channel for you.

Who are you trying to kid? it was nothing but a dog and pony show and you know it, This was just another one of Rahm Emanual's PR stunts to drive up Obama's popularity, nothing more.. unfortunately his popularity continues to plummet.... As for Carter, If I remember right, Carter had the highest popularity of any President soon after his inauguration, he also had the highest decline of any President in the same year, I'll have to research the numbers, but I'm sure their close in comparison.

You're comparing politics and society from 35 years ago to today. I see no resemblance whatsoever, other than sharing the same political party. Even the party politics have changed. Not to mention, you're looking at the first African-American president - or bi-racial, whatever fits best. I also see that you fail to administer Dubya's 8 year failed and disastrous presidency, which has burdened America with a financial, social and political chaos so large, that it will take two Obama administrations to correct.

So what your saying is; Close your eyes to what Obama is doing? Obama and his idiot supporters only wish everyone would do that.. Unfortunately it's not that easy.

You must be referring to the 7 years of prosperity, Yeah, it was really disastrous.. lmao.

If Obama provides America with any prosperity in the remaining 3.3 years he has left, it will be a miracle.

Is this never ending partisan hot potato game some form of a fetish, or is denial in the United States really that bad? Both parties consented to a Wall Street bailout with tax dollars. Both parties consented to the invasion and "democratization" of both Iraq and Afghanistan, aka "tax funded nation building". Both parties will continue to play Empire with dollars and blood for decades to come, and life will drag on in the belly of the world's only Superpower. Get used to it, it's here to stay.

Affordable health care isn't coming, and Madoff is proof just how concerned the Federal government is with financial corruption, it only took 30 years to catch him, but not before he was elected chairman of NASDAQ of course. Real "Change" might come eventually, but it sure as sh!t won't be Democrat or a Republican.

even the two other guys choose somewhat decent beers... the president had to go with the most neutral of all, Bud Light... personally would have chose what i know to be the best regional American beer of that area... Dogfish Head 90 minute IPA.... mmmmm mmmm... after 3 of those the president would have been saying "i love you man" more than any bud light drinker thought was possible.

and of course leave it to a certain so called news station to point out that Bud is now owned by InBev (for less than a year mind you) and that the Pres was therefore not choosing an American beer...unfortunately they couldnt seem to muster up the same investigative courage during the run up to the Iraq war...but hey what's more important anyway, the lives of American soldiers and innocent civilains or what beer the Pres drinks on this ocassion.

its really good stuff.. almost all of their products, but the 90 minute IPA is probably one the best and most widely available (and strongest, 9% ABV!) microbrewery beers from the east coast area im sure they have it somewhere where you're located with the bar scene that it has..

another good choice for Obama would be some of Chicago's own Goose Island which is awesome.. but I guess bud light was the best political decision.

One thing I can figure out is; Why did the police officer agree to the dog and pony show in the first place? Why lower himself to that?

probably just to visit the whitehouse and meet the president of the united states...thats a hell of a story to tell. anyway, i like my cops to not hold grudges. clearly obama should have kept his mouth shut on this until he knew the whole story.

but this thread is now about the beer... lets try to stay on topic.
