What's bullshit, is someone like you trying to enforce a lock down on any dissent. Let people think what they want to, why do you care anyway? Were you there, did you witness the crash yourself?

Many questions will need to be answered about this event, and hopefully that will be done with complete transparency. Only some ultra leftist neo-Bolshevik EU thug would have a problem with discourse on the matter.

Next you will tell me that only idiots don't believe the official story published by the Kremlin. I don't believe half the shit my own government says, and we don't have an ex-KGB dictator running the place...

Half an hour after the plane crashed, everyone knows it was pilot error? Maybe the plane had mechanical problems, how in the hell can they know it was pilot error 100%, without forensics? That's a little weird to me. What's also weird is how the airforce heads here in Poland are stating that the pilot would have been arrested upon return to Poland for not listening to ground control, yet we are left to believe that he didn't care about standard Polish aviation laws... questions, many questions...

Entire anti-Russian segment of the Polish government is gone in one fell swoop. Putin is in complete control of the investigation over this tragedy. Please don't rush to conclusions people, trust comrade Putin 100%. As he said, he's not the richest man in the world with money, but richest in love from his fellow Russians [especially dead human rights activists and Russian "free press"].

Either way huge mistake for the Polish gov't to send this number of high ranking officials on a flight to Russia on a Russian plane.

Not really sure why you got so angry. The Smolensk airport is very outdated, they don't have the system for landing in fog, and the decision for landing was done by the crew, not by Russians - they told not to land there. I also don't see how this would be beneficial for the Russians, but I'm listening to your reasonings. I don't shut the "conspiracy theory pie holes" I just find them rather funny.

I'm not angry, I just feel that people should be able to question official stories, without being asked to step back into formation. I'm sure some thought it was implausible that the Soviets committed the atrocities in Katyn, and perhaps some laughed at the notion.

Some people can't handle that this is an extremely evil world [2010], where sinister people do actually sit around and plan very sinister things [invasion of Iraq via WMD]. Doesn't mean accidents don't happen, but without seeds of distrust, how can we separate accidents from planned events [good motivator for rigorous investigation]?

Thus far, there is one story, put forth by Russia, and replayed across the Western media. I will wait for Polish and or third party experts to evaluate it before I come to a firm conclusion. One head of the Polish airforce wants to look at an areal view of the unaltered crash site. Many things must be looked at here, and with full cooperation from Russia.

Also, there is a protocol to prevent too many top officials from traveling together here in Poland. Officials are trying to figure out why some of these rules might have been ignored.

With regard to this not being beneficial to Putin's Russia, on the contrary. Most of the ultra pro-US anti-Russian government party is gone now. Remember Lech's stance on Georgia [absolute solidarity]. How about the US missile shield plan [pro, felt Obama betrayed Poland by scaling it back]? How about Lech's stance on Ukraine and Georgia joining NATO [unwaivering support]? How about 2,000 Polish troops in Afghanistan, Russia's backyard. Russia could benefit greatly by a government here with soft Russia relations [Russian enemies vs vassals mindset for bordering countries]. It's not a guarantee, but more likely they will get that now.

I have nothing but respect for normal Russian people, but their imperialist government is as sinister as the imperialist Feds in the US. Hard to believe most of what these people say.

So will the next World War begin with the invasion of Poland once again? I hope not.

Although I think it was simply a tragic accident, nobody puts all their eggs in one basket. The number of Polish military brass aboard the plane far exceeds the political loss of a president. That definitely should make people question the official report.

Sarah Palin will likely start WWIII once elected to replace Obama.

... I probably shouldn't joke about that though.

We're all heart broken over this tragedy.
I don't trust Putin neither any of his KGB buddies running the country.
My folks still blame the Russians for killing Masaryk.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jan_Masaryk

They have been practicing the art of assassination since the Mongols who ruled Russia in XII c. killed their visiting princes.

    Here's some thoughts:
Request an UN investigation of Katyn, an international court hearing in Hague, demand Russian reparations to Poland and officer's families - just like the Germans do these days. $50 Billion?

WARSAW, Poland – The leader of Poland's government in exile while the nation was under Soviet-backed rule. The shipyard worker whose firing helped ignite the labor uprising that ultimately toppled communism here. A banking head who helped keep the country stable while the rest of the European Union plunged into recession. [read the complete article]

Is there an English version of that story? Online translators do a horrible job with it and it makes less sense after the translation.
