Price fixing in the glass & LCD industry
What's going on!?
I read that some insanely heavy fines have been imposed onto two large industries, for price fixing over the course of several years. I can only imagine how rampant this phenomenon is....
There was a big case about it last year in Aus over the only two companies that make cardboard boxes (people don't realise how essential boxes are to modern civilization!).
It goes on ALL the time, and it's only when someone with some ethics, which is so rare at the top of the corporate ladder (but is usually more likely a disgruntled P.A. to said people up top), mentions anything that it ever comes to light.
