I remember when Russia copied the US Space shuttle... I once saw a picture of each of them side by side, One looked like a engineering marvel and the other looked like it was made in someones garage.
If anyone has that picture, please post it..... I'd sure like to see it again.

The current shuttle program is just plain boring.
I think the main reason they continue to sink money into it is because it's still basically a military program.
Besides, manned flights to other planets are unnecessary and too expensive. It's all about robotics.
