Everytime I listen and watch Ron Paul or people like Newt Gingrich, I'm like glued to the screen, I suppose it's because they come off as knowledgeable, intelligent, truthful and passionate in their beliefs, Everything Obama isn't....

Let's just hope by the next Presidential election we can get candidates like these elected to serve us.

Thanks for the videos.

That was the 1st Ron Paul video I've seen and I got the same feeling.

Thanks for the videos.

Who's serving who? They get half a million a year to be treated like royalty and tell us how we can live.

I like Ron Paul on most issues except for foreign policy. I think libertarians have very naive view of the world.

I agree with you here. The real world is full of people like Vladimir Putin, Muammar al-Gaddafi, Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro, Hosni Mubarak, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Hu Jintao, Kim Jong-il... These people are kept in check by one thing, and one thing alone, and that is military power. Bong water philosophy can't wish away reality.

Yo Seraphim, Seraphim... I'm real happy for Ron Paul and I'mma let you finish, but Fidel Castro had one of the longest raining terror streaks of all time!

Thank you for posting this interview Seraphim. Ron Paul gives great interviews. Whether I agree or disagree with him I know he is a man of integrity and I really respect that quality of his.

There are many Paul supporters out there working hard to change the political landscape. If you are a fan of Ron Paul I recommend His Meetup.com groups:

http://ronpaul.meetup.com/

You can find local chapters and people discuss issues and events through a group email service.

Ron Paul's son, Rand Paul, is running for US senator in Kentucky:

http://www.randpaul2010.com/

I've seen Rand in an interview with Rachel Maddow and was very impressed. Again, like his father, it his candor that impresses me most:

Oh ya. Here is a Ron Paul interview with Jon Stewart from a few days ago:

Not all libertarians are the same. There are neolibertarians who do understand the less-civil ways of the world. According to Jonathan Henke, "neolibertarianism" is the philosophy of being a "pragmatic libertarian; Hawk or strong on defense; Hobbesian (or Lockean according to some) libertarian; Big-Tent libertarian".

"The government, which supposedly can’t do anything right, can still wage war correctly." -- Anthony Gregory (Source: Wikipedia.org)

This of course does not describe Ron Paul, who is a libertarian constitutionalist and does not agree with using military force for anything except national defense in its most literal interpretation.

But other libertarians disagree with this particular stance.

Some very spot on points! The Fed (a government upon themselves), Legalization of pot (why continue to support and fund a decades old program that does not work) and other timely topics.

Its always nice to listen to someone sitting on the sidelines on how they think the person who beat them out of the job is doing.

Regarding naive views of the world, I would venture to say that those who continue to support the previous administration lead the pack in naive views.

Seriously, please read the definition of naive.

You mean the "CURRENT" administration, The one we hope to replace in 2012, That is what were talking about isn't it? Replacing a radical socialist that got elected by naive people like you who believed in his every word.

I think so

having or showing a lack of experience, judgment, or information; credulous: he's so naive he believes everything he reads. He has a very naive attitude toward politics.

Sounds exactly like an Obama supporter.

But even more of a Bush supporter. Actually...

something that is falsely or delusively believed or propagated b : a persistent false psychotic belief regarding the self or persons or objects outside the self that is maintained despite indisputable evidence to the contrary; also : the abnormal state marked by such beliefs

Figure that one out... shouldn't take you long... or.....

Naive, as in

those who believe Sarah Palin was a swell pick for a VP in '08

and,

She has added foreign policy credentials by finally getting a passport and going to Hong Kong has boosted her chances as a candidate in 2012.

Once more, I am glad I was able to use this thread as an educational experience to finally look up a word that applies to their sense of righteousness and truth.

Buckle up. I hear zero gravity is a ***** on a full stomach.

I pity the ignorance and lack of intelligence you possess and obsess...
