Did you know the republican's Icon Ronald Reagan was a Socialist, and they are saying obama is a Socialist. And obama just want to take away taxes cuts the rich are getting, and give the lower and middle class a taxe cut.

Obama wants to right this wrong by taxing the wealthiest, so we the 95% of earners, middle and low income, get back some of OUR money that has been going to the rich. McCain wants to keep giving it to the RICH, instead of US. Trickle down doesn't work!

Many people want something for nothing and they want government to act as pirates and take from other and give to them. The more regulation there is, the more this happens and the more a small few can get their way. Nobody is forcing people to buy stocks in companies where they pay huge sums to executives but regulations drive people into these investments.

Look at ICANN. They are spending millions, mostly for legal fees, salaries, and travel and they did not exist 10 years ago. The whole bureaucracy was built by basically 2 Washington lawyers who left their DC law firms to work for the US Department of Commerce NTIA for a short time and then went back after ICANN was formed. Now the NTIA employees get all these free trips and go around world acting important while ICANN has their hand in the domain registration till. They are all protected from such things as the Freedom of Information Act because ICANN is not actually part of the government.

Here in New Jersey the State went bankrupt in the mid 1800's because the government borrowed too much money. A new NJ Constitution was written to force a public vote to borrow money. Christine Whitman (Republican) figured out a scheme where they set up an "authority" to borrow the money to provide a Republican "tax cut." The state then "guarantees" the payments through the "authority." Wall Street figured this out and the current governor, Jon Corzine, was a former CEO of Goldman Sachs. He tried to sell the toll roads and now is borrowing billions via these schemes. They borrow for things like schools and each time they borrow the money they show up at a crumbling school in Newark. They never explain why the school didn’t get fixed up the last time they borrowed billions. Now the next county over spending something like 20-30 Million to build 2 Vo Tech Schools, with full High Schools, 15 minutes apart. There is a movement to sue and to force the state not to pay back the bonds because the bonds were not actually “guaranteed.” Of course all the investors who bought the bonds would lose their money.

This all has to do with money, not Republicans, Democrats, or any -ism.

That also 5 million new jobs that pay taxes, and since when is it the taxes payers money once the gov't got it. It's the gov't money once they got it, and if they don't help us in the USA with it. Then they will help them self's and other country's with it, and there no way the gov't could paid for going green. That must be market driven, or it will not happen what you don't get it's well under way already.

Here is what I done to help fight MMGWing, and save my self lots of money and can tell OPEC to kiss you know what.

I put 2 natural gas heater in my house, both are 30k each that 60k getting off of a oil heater. That burns 100 gallons in colder months, and 180+ in the coldest months that lots of oil. My hot water is heated with the oil heater as well, I'll be changing to a tankless one very soon. First I wanted to cut all the usages I could, the same with electric as well.

I cut the hot water to my cloths washer, and will have shut of value inside the house. As the washer room is a add on, no need to heat that then at all. I'll be shutting down the oil heater for good, no need to heat the 2/3 cellar after that at all. I'll not need to heat the upstairs anymore, as heat goes up and will heat the upstair from down stairs.

Now I got the 2 heaters place to get the max heat, and should have no problem heating the house that way. So I cut about 65% of the house from needing to be heater, add to that the NG heater will not being losing the 1/3 lose. That goes out the chimney with oil heat, all the NG is used to heat the house none is lost. I also save the electric the oil heater needs, and the water pump it used to pump water around the house to heat it.

I changed every light to 13 watt saver lights, I sold the old auto I had and use the newer only. I've cut back to only needed driving, that is less then 20 gallons per month. I sealed up my house, and keep my auto running in top shape even keep checking the tires. I'll only need to heat water as it's use, so I save with that as well. I'm also looking into a natural gas kit, to turn my auto over to natural gas as well.

Now I don't know about you, but natural is much cheaper then heating oil. My electric usage is already way down, and electric is not cheap so I'm saving all kinds of money. And I cut way down on the CO2 I put out, I'll be heating my whole house with 60k or less natural gas. I'm not the only one everyone is changing to natural gas heat, they are putting up wind power electric gens like mad. PA passed laws giving them the right away, the mountain tops got roll after roll of them.

They are putting them up as fast as they can get them, now obama knows this and knows. That they need way more made to keep up with demand, the same with solar and other green energy's. Now taxes payer are not paying for this stuff, so where you get that from I don't know. The gov't will give some taxes break with it that all, the driving force is the market for cheap green energy.

And they had on the news the big oil is slowing down already, that because states are going green just as fast as they can. No one can stop it now, like pa passing right away laws, meaning they don't have to ask to use the land. They can use it and no one can stop it, states have that right and not even the fed gov't can stop it.

Going GREEN BABY GREEN, saves lots of GREEN BABY GREEN, and makes JOBS BABY JOBS, don't you know....

No one was calling Obama a socialist until his 'speading the wealth' soundbite. His tax plans would be no more spreading the wealth than this redistribution program that Reagan had put in place. If you want to say he is a "socialist" for other things, thats fine but this is what he was being called a socialist initially by the McCain camp.

The term socialist actually is being used as a buzzword and scare tactic in this campaign. If people did their homework then they would know what socialism was all about and know what Obama said was far from what socialism is. Yet the people who fall for this are the ones who do their homework by only watching political ads, debates and whatever it is that their friends are saying.

H2FC raider was joking, no she was not talking to me and don't know my sister at all. I was going to write back, if only my sister looked so good. But my kid is pretty good at google searches, and may find I wrote that and tell my sister on me.

Hey H2FC I'm doing pretty good getting off oil, last winter was to much for me to bear buying heating oil. So I got my bu$$ in high gear this year, to fix the problem and I got most of it done now. I put new pipes in and the heaters my self, I love the heaters and I'm using them already.

I just need to get the hot water heater, and then I can shut down the oil heater for good. I found a natural gas kit for my auto for $1000, but would need away to compress the natural gas into a tank. That cost 3 to 4k so hopefully I can find some thing cheaper, they really need to get this stuff out in the market at better prices.

I could use natural gas for most all my driving, and only change to gas on them rare long trips. But right now I'm only using less then 20 gallons of gas per month, and at most I can only use 60k BTU's of natural gas to heat my house. That part I got done already, now it's just winterizing some parts of the house better.
