Results 1 - 10 of about 5,100,000,000 for michael jackson live memorial service. (0.13 seconds)

More than 5 billion searches for live feeds.

5,100,000,000 is not how many times people searched.
That's how many web pages that contain any word/words.

"michael jackson live memorial service" - there are only 93 pages for exact term.
Without quote - page may contain one word, two words or all words in any order.

Before MJ's death, the shelves in music stores were loaded with his CD's, after his death, good luck finding just one.... Many are just caught up in the hype and the Media is what's driving it, This happens every time somebody famous dies, I'm sure it happened to John Lennon and I know it happened to Elvis

John Lennon and Elvis really faded hard after the hype of their deaths wore off. If the billions of dollars in royalties over the last several decades don't prove that, not sure what will.

What's funny was, Google Reported a Slow down on their servers due to number of hits to their search engine, and Twitter crashed.

At least that's what the local news channels said. That ought to give us an idea as to how big he was. Well another thing that might have sparked off this 'big rippling effect' was his sudden death maybe?
