I did not watch it, but here is my state of the union - America is circling the drain, and neither political party is a good answer. More special interest money coming into the system is not going to make it any better.
Nothing can get done in Washington as neither side is willing to work together for the best interest of the country. Both sides are becoming more and more extreme. There is no penalty for making outlandish comments or telling outright lies.
I think the answer in the end might be a better education system. There are far too many misinformed people all over the political spectrum.

DataCube.com - Buy and Sell Premium Domains
I turned in on in the beginning, changed channel, watched some G4 (Cops, break these cuffs was on there), by time I remembered to turn it back, it was the end, only heard some promises towards the end and Nancy Pelosi looking like she was giving Joe Biden and handjob and licking her lips like she wanted to blow the President...
And I know if you have little to no power in your house hold, besides your couple hours allowed on the computer to play video games and rage on DNForum, but who the **** are you to tell me what to do or say?
I am asking on here to get feedback from intellectual people who actually watched it and believe me, you were not one of those people
Is it almost past your bed time?
Great thread Zurc, 5 posts later and you already crapped on it, Nice job.
How can you attract intellectual people when the thread starter has no intellect himself? You can prove me wrong on that by simply posting your thoughts about tonight's State of the Union.

Please vote Republican in 2012, America can not sustain another 4 years
of Liberal policies that are fiscally and socially destroying the country..
Now I know you are dumb. But you could at least be competent enough to read a couple sentences. I think I was VERY clear.
What you make clear is simply how miserable you are, every time you make a post.
No one likes you, even the ones who act like they do publicly, believe that.
Your master is about to find out you are currently on over-time for your computer use, better hurry up and shut the thing off and pretend you were sleeping this entire time. We all wouldn't want to hear you got in trouble.
Just a reminder!
A screen shot of personal fight is not required in this section.

There you have it folks, Zurc's response to the State of the Union address....
Do forgive the poor boy, he would of commented earlier but he had no material..... If only Doc had posted earlier, this is what Zurc's brilliant and captivating response would of been;
"Good post Doc, I agree 100% with everything you said, It all sounds good to me!"
Tune in next time for another riveting response from our clueless wonder "Zurc" the "Yes Man"
If that's true, why do I keep getting friend requests?
Please vote Republican in 2012, America can not sustain another 4 years

Would that be me. Obama gives so many speeches that at this point I just can't listen anymore. Its all bullshit anyway.

Zurc, you started it this time. Raider asked you a simple question and you can't answer it without name calling. Now how mature is that?
I will say it was the most promises made in an hour...
I think this speach filled will promises will haunt him. I noticed even his own people lost energy during his speach... It was too much.
I can see a checklist being made of all the promises he made... and checking off what he did and didn't do.
I'm not sure how many he made but he made some big promises and all these with freezing Gov' spending too... hmmm
*If he completes half what he promised he will be the best leader ever...
Good Luck ........I hope he can do it...![]()

I didnt hear alot of promises, I heard alot of good ideas and plans to pull this country out of the hole its in. But with republicans sitting on their ass and not applauding when he mentions healthcare or jobs just goes to show their true evil ways. As long as their campaigns are being greased by lobbyist, big oil, big banks, big medicine, etc etc etc, they will never stop blocking what Obama wants to do. Money and greed run this country and the world. It's spinning out of control, never more divided, and if I could jump off I would.
i thought the speech was spoken from the heart
with a sincere "intent" to "keep" the focus on the struggles of the American people, as the purpose for he and Congress being elected.
health care reform is still on the agenda!
jobs, getting people back to work, is still on the agenda!
the mention of the Supreme Court's decision to overturn the lobby law was quite a punch
i did the Ali shuffle when he spoke on that!
i also did a one-two air jab, when he spoke of divisiveness in the congresss
pointing out obstructionism among republicans....just because they can
and also hitting the democrats for not sticking together
mention of more support for the troops, once they come home, was a good thing
and i know republicans were glad to hear anything about freezing government spending.
though they certainly didn't want to hear it when...
the prez spoke about the nation's deficit when he "took office" and the tax cuts that were afforded to big oil and the wealthy, by his predecessor. george bush (which he politely didn't mention by name)
i think the speech was long, but he has a long list of "shiz-zit" to correct, and as he stated, which i think was directed to the republicans...."if you got something better, let me know".
obama ain't no quitter that's for sure and he ain't scared.
he knew and knows, that he will "always" be fighting an uphill battle
but that's how some like to roll
some changes have been made and more changes will come
imo...

LOL, hahahahahaahhahaahahahahahahaahahahahahahaha, "Why do I keep getting friend requests", HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
That is definitely the funniest and most pathetic shit I have ever seen you post. Damn what a miserable life, she has to brag about getting friend requests, when shes the one actually requesting it and trying to buy online friends with DNF$ ~ Rofl, what a gimp.
I do find it funny that you are still bent up on the fact that 1.) I didn't see the state of the union, the whole thing, so I could not really comment on it. I know you think everyone turns on Fox news, waits for Hannity or Beck to give there opinion and believe exactly that, then spew it like a crazy lady on a forum where no one likes you.
Oh and btw, Gimp, where is your opinion / comment about the State of Union?
Stupid pet troll...
BD77, your breath must be smelling really nasty.
Recorded the SOU repeat during the night, will watch it later, but pretty sure its going to be the same as any just a bit more prepared....
lol@ hasrob getting bent about how not everyone kept jumping up & clapping...you & your party still don't get it....get over it....quit trying to place blame & do something about the %10 of Americans that dont have a job....and about healthcare, maybe what "obama wants to do" is not what WE THE PEOPLE want....get people back to work, then they will have the means to make our OWN decisions about OUR health.

Thank you for the synopsis Biggie. Glad to hear Obama sounded off against the Supreme Court's decision on corporate campaign spending.
I was having dinner at a friend's house whose politics differ from mine when it comes to base politics so we skipped it for the sake of a pleasant evening. Ironically when we do discuss politics out side the vacuum of left and right we tend to agree on many important issues.
There is no getting around a spending freeze as America has to get the budget deficits under control. Obama needs to freeze military spending too as this is not included in the freeze. Between the wars and our military budgets we will spend over $700 billion dollars in 2010 on military expenses. No other country in the world is even remotely spending as much as the US:
These figures don't include the money spent on the war in Iraq either. If those figures are included our percentage goes up to 48% of all military spending in the world.
Yes, having a strong military is vital to our country. However, if the cost of our military becomes a burden due to the size and scope it is effectively draining America's resources and weakening us rather than protecting us. Prudent thought suggests we can reduce our military costs and still maintain the strongest military in the world.
