Tar Baby used in reference to Obama...whatcha think

Rep. Doug Lamborn (R-CO) may have crossed the line when he said that being associated with President Obama would be similar to touching a “tar baby”.

I'm not sure he said it as a racial insult. I do think he made a mistake using the term in reference to Obama....and I suspect one he would love to have back!

Your paranoid. Here is the quote from the CNN article.....

“Even if some people say, well the Republicans should have done this or they should have done that, they will hold the President responsible,” said Lamborn said Friday during an interview on a Denver radio station. “Now I don’t want to even have to be associated with him. It’s like touching a tar baby and you get, you get it, you know… you are stuck and you are part of the problem now and you can’t get away.”

Doesn't seem racist to me. The real issue with President Obama is he sucks. He's a terrible president and most of the world knows it.

within the minority communities, it's a hot topic on radio and in the press


more of a discussion on the "ongoing" lack of respect for the president
