How come I can't find anything on this? My father told me there was a tsunami in Indonesia as well, but I was unable to find any news caps on it. Do you have any links by any chance?
Thanks

My brother-in-laws room mate at an Army college (the War College?) was from America Somoa. They are now both Colonels in the US Army.
In regular college, that guy was college roommates with some big NFL defensive star from America Somoa (they went to University of Hawaii together). That is why the matter resonated so well with me.
Thoughts are with those in the affected areas

USGS site is usualy pretty good for earthquake information:

Looks like Indonesia has had a series of 5.0+ quakes the past couple of days, it looks like the one Doc is posing about could have been an aftershock?
Recent events seem to be proving my theories from several years ago, though: an event on one side of a plate will create / release tension on another giving a high chance of an event there.
Earthquakes are a big fear of mine - something about the ground not being reliable anymore. I don't know how people who live in these areas do it - even the small 3.0 quakes we'd get in NH freaked me out.
