If you want to see and hear real conmen at work may I suggest you look at the UK Government!

Hell, you have absolutely nothing to complain about in comparrison to us here in the UK.

We have a lying, bullying, unelected prime-minister (figurehead) - his strings are pulled by an ex-minister ((Mandelson) who had to resign because he was found committing fraud, he would never get elected again so the Labour government made him a Lord to sit in our upper-house (no need to be elected there) - and he now controls the government - Prime Minister in everything but name!

And did you know absolutely nothing is their fault! Brown deregulated the banks, but it was not his fault! He said we would never have boom-and-bust economy again - hell he had better look out the window! He says we have 500 helicopters when questioned about helicopters for our servicemen in Iraq/Afghanistan - actually now take off the 500 those used for training, air-sea/mountain rescue in the Uk, training helicopters, anti-submarine helicopters on board ships, helicopters that are used by the government ministers, helicopters in the Faulklands, helicopters commited to NATO in Europe, etc., etc., and we have about 10% of what the lying, deceitful, conning, theiving, want-to-be-dictator said we had.

In the meantime he offers the 3rd world 10 billion pounds whilst our economy is going further and faster downhill than that of Greece!

I tell you what, I will swap you Brown, Mandelson, and their cronies for Obama anyday of the week!

Since the near financial collapse of our banking system and after US taxpayers bailing them out to the tune of Billions and perhaps trillions of dollars, not one piece of reform or new legislation has been passed.

What this means is what happened beginning of the fall 2007 to present can happen all over again without anything anyone can do about it.

Meanwhile, because of this...banking stock prices rise.

But to say Republicans give only for tax reasons is way off base, Religious conservatives donate not just money, but get involved with the charity they believe in because they truly DO care. NOT so with secular Liberals who donate nothing but Pennies and HOT AIR.

Agreed - but Mandelson left in shame twice!

And Brown was the chancellor who sold our gold reserves at the bottom of the market when he should've been buying. Blair before him was no better. Oh sure, he could orate much better; was more personable, but he was the one who presided over Brown as chancellor (and claimed he was the best in history!!), lead us into two bullshit wars, and jumped ship just before everything hit the fan - leaving us with this loser in charge.

Most donations from anyone are done selfishly, to look good or get "closer to god" or whatever the reason. Unless the person is connected to someone directly effected practically everyone has another motive besides charity. And that donkey cartoon is pretty hypocritical. Like the repubs aren't hoping Obama messes up big time so they can get "their" man back in next election. Its all nothing more than a circle jerk really where nothing gets accomplished.

I don't know about "Most", maybe you can back that up with some data..... You really need to get out more, and by that I mean travel to some 3rd world countries and witness for yourself what people are actually doing for others in need, And ask them why their doing it... Many do it because they CARE, I don't understand why its so hard for people like you to understand that?

And if you want to talk about selfishness, Look at what Obama has done, look at the time this bastard spent on Health Care instead of focusing on creating jobs, Trying to ram through a health care bill the people of this country overwhelmingly REJECT...... Even if it passes, it stands a very good chance of being overturned by the US Supreme Court on constitutional grounds, A bill that forces people to buy something they DON'T want.

1 year WASTED on Health Care while 4.1 MILLION Americans lost their jobs.... Obama must figure the more people un-employed, the more they will need and want health care.

I'm really starting to believe this President wants this country to FAIL, He obviously doesn't care about creating jobs and reducing the deficit.
