As to your poll its nothing but a snapshot in time. You can get back to me when we have a winner in the Republican primary and then will look at the poll data.
It all comes down to the state of the economy in 2012... Of the $2.5 Million jobs lost under Obama's leadership, we would need to create 5000 Jobs PER DAY just to recover from those jobs lost.

I hope Palin runs, I really do. Last time, she only had to do 1 debate against Biden and that's it. This time, before she can even take on Obama, she has to go thru her own party, many debates. It was passed and the jobless rate is currently at 9.1% and has been between 9.1% and 9.8% for the past 2 years now. So how is it Bush's fault for the Democrats Job Stimulus plan NOT working? Nothing Obama has done in the past 2 1/2 years has improved anything, quite the opposite.. Obama's policies have been a complete failure and your here blaming Bush for those failures?.

Anytime a report comes out favorable to the economy (which is rare) Obama's reaction is; "Where's the camera and turn on my teleprompter" If the numbers are negative, the response is; "It was broken when I got here" or "This economy took a big hit and these things take time" Nothing but lame excuses for his own FAILED policies NOT working.
I don't think theirs one leftist in this thread who hasn't reminded us that 911 and the financial crisis happened under Bush's watch, and that Bin Laden was Killed under Obama's watch, right?.. You left out the 8.8 and 8.9, few months ago. Yes, much work to be done. But I wasn't expecting miracles after getting handed the worst recession since the Great Depression, only unrealistic people were.

At this point, it looks like he will. The Republicans are not offering up anything new, no one to this point that can contend. It's so bad, they're recycling up Romney. Isn't he the front runner at this point? It was Huckabee before he announced he wasn't running. Then you have Romney. (reading a poll from a little over a month ago) After that you had Trump, then Palin. Trump?? haha, c'mon now. He isn't running, so he's out of there. So Romney and Palin at this point. It still amazes me that people look at Palin and think, yeah, President of the United States. Someone who I think would flunk a U.S. citizenship test if she had to take one. But I don't see her running, she was barely hanging on (from breaking down) just as a Vice Presidential candidate. So right now Romney, and ? The Republicans are in bad shape right now.
Thank you for reminding me of the lower unemployment numbers in the last 1/4, The very numbers Obama was taking full credit for and claiming America was on the road to recovery.

Liberals and Dems, blind and bias as ever... When the unemployment rate drops, they tell us were on the road to recovery, but when it increases, they tell us it's George Bush's fault and it was broken before Obama got there.
As far as a front runner for the Republicans, you left out a lot of good people when you were naming names, I don' know who it will be, it's much to early to tell at this point.. All I'm going to say is, whoever the Republican nominee is, I'm going to enjoy watching Obama get the crap beaten out of him in the debates... Heck, if I'm lucky and sell a domain for 50K or more, I'll fly all my Republican DNF friends out to California and we can all watch the ass kicking together..
You need a record of some success economically to win re-election and Obama doesn't have one.. The only one he's got is the one he'll be running away from in 2012.

Again, most people realize, numbers go up and down, normal stuff. You got take a little longer look than month to month. It got as high as 10.1%, it's now 9.1%

All he has to do is show progress in the right direction, that's it. Inherited a mess, stop the slide, get it going back in the right direction, even a little bit. From a high of 10.1% to what will probably be something in the 8's. Is it where everybody wants it to be? Of course not, but these things take time.
Just out of curiosity. Let's say a Republican of your choice inherited the same mess Obama was handed. At this very point in time, where do you think this country would be, say Unemployment Rate? Or whatever else you want to use. What would be your expectations of a Republican President.
I'm not looking at month to month, I'm looking at a 2 1/2 year period since Democrats voted to spend 1 TRILLION dollars of our money to keep unemployment below 8%, They claimed if we didn't pass the Job stimulus bill, unemployment would rise to 9% by 2010... If we did pass it, it would peak at under 8%. Were at 9.1% today, So a Job stimulus bill that was intended to keep unemployment below 8%, actually increased unemployment up to 10.1%.... All due to FAILED policies by the Obama Administration.
I really don't like answering hypothetical questions... Let me just say if a President of my choice had the majority of both houses of congress upon taking office and 2 years passed, I have no doubt the unemployment rate would be below 6% about now. We should of been over this recession in late 2009 or early 2010.
For starters; Cain, Paul, Gingrich, Santorum and hopefully Bachmann... Not a big fan of Pawlenty or Huntsmen... Newt is the smartest guy on the block, but I have issues with some of the positions he's taken.
He's knows the USA consists of 58 States, not including Alaska and Hawaii of course.

He was probably tired. You know what's worse, besides quitting in the middle of your term (Palin) how about not even knowing what you're supposed to do in the job you're running for? I remember watching an early video of her asking what it is that a Vice President does.
