Information is leaking out though sites like Twitter and FB but that is even getting harder - it is even being reported that people are being taken into custody for protesting and posting via these sites.
We all know how quiet China tried to keep Tianamen Square quiet and they did for a little while. Are we going to look back years form now at what is going in in Iran as another version? When governments close their doors to the outside world - you know there is a good chance that whatever is going to happen won't be pretty.

Iran's Most Senior Ayatollah Says Election Was Fixed
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fvv57DVBmrc
It didn't matter who won because both were chosen by the Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Sure one was a little more moderate than the other but in the grand scheme of things nothing was going to change. As long as the Ayatollahs control the military they control the country and decide its fate.

i have one proxy site i provide as a free service. nice, clean site, no ads, popups etc
this proxy is taking down my server, my sites werent resolving, traffic has exploded and you know how much proxy sites drain your server.
i took down, but when checked awstats, its 99% iranian traffic, so put back up, i may need to get another server just for this!

Really sorry to hear about this :( Have been following it quite closely since it began and it doesn't look good. Common sense would tell you that if it wasn't fixed, a reaction other than "Stop or we'll shoot you" from the senior officials would prevail.
And good job Pred
It's also nice to see that Google and Facebook are rolling out Farsi versions of their apps.
I did it just for him although I think he's seen it before![]()

something fairly busy with steady traffic like okok.com uses double digit meg a day in bandwidth
my proxy site is draining 1.5 GIG a day
its showing hundreds of thousands of pageviews a day, surely my awstats are out
