Your living in the past. America is not the desirable destination it was 50 years ago.

Those boat loads of Europeans stopped coming a long time ago. The only immigrants the US attracts in large numbers now are from third world countries in South America and Asia. (And the US is spending a fortune trying to get them) In a nut shell, the inability to attract european immigrants is why white people will soon no longer be the majority in the US.

The same applies to Canada as well. Whether Europeans come here or not is not the issue. The immigration policy, especially in America is f*cked up. A good measure of what you said is true though.

1. Didnt mean to suggest it didnt also apply to Canada. Most of our immigrants these days come from India.

2. I was answering a post that suggested lots of Europeans want to emigrate to the US. Thats not true any more. The European economy is doing so well they compete with the US and Canada to attract imigrants now.

Seriously though, to answer the OP question, 'real Americans' carry on with their lives and continue to try to build a better standard of living for themselves and their families. 'Real Americans' celebrate the democracy that has allowed them the opportunity to change government without bloodshed, 'Real Americans' bathe in their constitution that says the will of the majority shall prevail in deciding who is in power to govern them.

N.B. I think the question posed by the OP is quite insulting to Americans generally, if nothing else this election should have taught those who wish to distinguish one part of the USA from another part on the false presumed basis of 'real America', 'real values', etc., that there is only one America, an America that is as diverse in its peoples and political philosophies as it is in its physical landscape.

Yes, An American from India is just as American as an American from Ukraine. The American experience is continual and present as opposed to "it" being created, formed and stagnated with the influx of white Europeans. Those who come to the USA and Canada today from India are as much Americans and Canadians as much as those who shaped Canada and USA coming from France and Ireland.

I am a domainer. No one bestowed the title on me. I do domaining and so I know I am one. I can design the best websites out there, but it would still not make me a domainer.

Likewise, I am an American. I do not and will not look at myself as an American if and only when some so called authority, group or agency confers upon me that title.

White people are still in the majority today. The reason why white people won't be a majority as soon as in the year 2040 is because the immigration policy is broken. The standards of enforcing its rules on illegal immigration is non existent.

And face it, unlike those Arabs, Latinos and Indians, White folks don't make as many babies. Call me insane, but deep down in my heart I know, America was and what it is today, because of the great White migration. With their slow demise, the United States will reflect the demons of the 3rd world.

And, it does not look pretty.
