Perhaps a better question is does the majority of the world want to see Iran with the ability to use nuclear weapons against his neighbors? I know for sure I don't want their present leader with that capability.....not with the way he feels about the free world and the USA in particular.

I feel no more comfortable with bush being in control of nuclear weapons than I do with the current Iranian nutbar.

What we're trying to do Ehsan, is to protect ourselves against the nihilistic fundamentalists who will stop at nothing to try and take over the world and spread their own particular gospel to places where it's very far from wanted.

Having said that, I am against Western interference in Iraq and Afghanistan; I think we should all leave and let themselves sort it out amongst themselves. One quick solution would be for us all to withdraw and let Saddam back in. They can make a glass crater out of the region for all I care.

First of all what i will do is really ask him if he wants to leave Islam and not get an anser from his so called protectors us lawers or human rightsorganization etc adn if he says yes he is free to go where he wants and what religion he chooses but tell me do Muslims get that complete freedom in USA or UK if u say that its wrong in afghnistan i think USA and UK will be do far more better than this but they are spying on simple Muslims harrasing them adn trying to hurt them in every way they can

I support the rule of law. As a signatory to the non-proliferation treaty they are legally entitled like every other nation on earth to have nuclear power.

It doesn't matter if a certain percentage of the American population doesn't like Iran, that is irrelevant. If the people that inhabit this earth ever want to move forward they need to apply international law equally at all times.

And speaking of the law - the US is in clear violation of it's own duties under the NPT as a signatory to that treaty. They should be dismantling their nuclear arsenal - are they? Is Russia, Britain, France, Israel (not even a signatory), India, Pakistan, and China? These are known nuclear powers who are all increasing their nuclear arsenals (France and Britain not so much other than upgrades), so why no outcry from the usual suspects about their law breaking habits? I'll tell you why - it's all politics for the masses - heaped on with the use of propaganda, smear and fear.

And let's also clear up another myth. The "Iranian nutbar" president. Another propaganda fable perpetuated by the Western media to instill fear and sway the gullible into supporting another war of aggression. The position of president in Iran is more ceremonial than anything. He has very little power. In American terms he has the position equal to the secretary of state. It is the mullahs that have the real power and low and behold they years ago issued a fatwa saying nuclear weapons were quote - "unIslamic". The Iranian president likes to run his mouth, but then so do many members of the American government.

You are avoiding the question.
If Muslims are so understanding and peaceful then why did a man have to face execution and ultimately have to be secreted out of Pakistan because he decided to switch religions?
If the same situation occurs in the US it's because radicals on both sides are creating it.
The christian fundamentalist are no better. Cat Stevens somehow got listed on a no fly list and basically had to give up his career because he chose to become a muslim.
When do people become a little bit intelligent and put religion aside?
