    Highly misleading.

Say in the beginning (Carter) the debt was $100. At the end of Reagan it would have been $289 ($189 increase). At the end of George Bush it would have been $447.95 (increase of $258.95). At the end of Clinton it would have been $613.69 (increase of $165.74). At the end of GW Bush it would have been $1141.47 (increase of $527.77). Now, it would have been $1540.98 (increase of $399.51).

    So the increase leaders are:
    GW Bush - $527.77
    Obama - $399.51
    G HW Bush - $258.95
    Reagan - $189
    Clinton - $165.74

GW had two wars going on plus 9-11, and the 2004-2005 Atlantic Hurricane seasons (the busiest and costliest seasons on record). G HW Bush had the Gulf War I. (I'm not justifying the increases, just showing reasons for them).

Plus, I highly doubt the graph is taking inflation into account.

    I love the source:

"Office of the Democratic Leader"? WTF is that?

This is obviously a partisan graph that uses the first 80 years of the century, comparing it to Reagan.

A graph created by someone who didn't find it necessary to include dollar figures, hmmm, how convenient.

Let's put things in better perspective and use those numbers shall we?

When Ronald Reagan entered office, the National Debt was just under $1 Trillion, when he left office it was just under $3 Trillion. 8 years in office and $2 Trillion added to the National Debt. Not a bad price for rebuilding our Defense and jump starting our economy, both of which were in disarray.

Fast forward to Barack Obama who entered office with a $10.7 Trillion debt and increased that debt to $14.4 Trillion Dollars, That's nearly $4 TRILLION added to the debt in only 2 years, with nothing to show for it accept an economy that has only gotten worse.

So Reagan increases the debt by $2 Trillion in 8 years and Obama increases the Debt by $4 Trillion in 2 years... And they come out with a graph of percentages intended to deceive the Obama drones into believing Republicans are the biggest spenders. And we have the OP of this thread who bought into it, Hook, Line, and Sinker...

    Well done.

    LMAO!

Agree, but what do you expect from a graph that came from the office of Nancy Pelosi who has a long history of publishing misleading graphs?, Everything from Jobs to Health care, Graphs intended to deceive the very people she was sworn to represent.

Graphs like these are geared to the dumb asses of America, the ones the Democrats hope will turn out on election day.
