dick cheney
karl rove
newt gingrich
john mccain
sarah palin
joe the plummer
joe wilson
rush limbaugh
glenn beck
fox news
the wizard of oz

or is there some gop panel?

the reason i ask is because i'm just curious who could be ordering the republicans to stick to their "mis-information" agenda.

who do you think is calling the shots for the gop?

Nobody, and that's the problem. The contenders for "King of Crazy Mountain" think the rule is "most extreme wins", and there is no adult supervision.

In a Parliamentary style government, there is definitely a need for one, but in a non-parliamentary style government, especially one where the members are elected geographically, why should there be. The UK has the opposition party set up dummy ministers. In the US there are house majority-minority leaders. What do you need, an opposition president? Who was the leader of the Democratic party when Bush, Bush, Reagan, Ford and Nixon were president?

I don't think Republicans need a leader right now, The Dems are doing some much self destruction to themselves and to their party, that just about ANY Republican can win in 2010 and 2012.

Don't be too sure. Voters have short memories, if and when the economy picks up despite Obama, he will be credited for it.

Yes, it will try to improve, in spite of him. Whether it will be able to sustain positive growth in the next 2-3 years is the question.

When the debt comes due , will we be able to create yet another bubble to postpone the inevitable payback to our children? Or will we succumb to a world currency, and final devaluation of the dollar?
