I never suggested it was the norm for a librarian to earn that amount in pension pay, The point I was trying to make is that Public sector employees are earning outrageous amounts of money today, many of them are making more than what the President of the United States makes, It's done by pay increases that are mandated in public employee union contracts, even during a recession or depression, they still get their increase no matter what. And many cites in this Country are charter cities, which gives them the authority to give themselves pay raises for almost any amount they want, that's what happened in the city of Bell and Vernon....

Fact is, Government employees today are earning FAR more than what the average employee in the Private Sector makes, Their the PROBLEM.. NOT Private enterprise like you want everyone to believe.

While the "out of work" Factory worker struggles to survive, a party time council member is sitting on his or her ass earning $100,000 to $400,000 a year.
