Profoundly influenced by #Bauhaus, @Nameslave unrepentantly embraces #Minimalism in his #multimedia portfolio. His early works include an experimental adaptation of Chekhov’s Cherry Orchard inspired at least partly by Robert Fripp. His totally irrelevant M.Ed. dissertation examines Organizational Culture and Change Management.
I guess so. It was only a matter of time really. All of those quick ditches meant something.
I hate to say "I told you so"
But I did and then got attacked for it: http://www.dnforum.com/f31/myspace-t...ad-128370.html
It says here http://www.bookmakers.uni.cc/bloggin...shutting-down/
They will be going after all sites with the mention of myspace and codes
Does that mean sites like this that just sold , will be in trademark violation, since the theme is "myspace"
http://www.dnforum.com/f48/myspace-s...ad-138068.html
No, I did a great deal of research before choosing a domain name that didn't conflict with their trademark. "my" "pimp" and "codes" are all general terms and there's no way anyone could get a trademark on those, unless they got one on "my pimp codes" but as of now there isn't; so my name was registered first, and I have right to it even without a trademark. As for a "theme"? theres no way a company could control the theme of your website. That's just insane. They can't control the content of my site (unless you're using copyrighted material) and the can't get a copyright on a few lines of universal css/html. so unless your actual domain blatantly contains their trademark, you should be ok. And anyways, I asked "Tom" and he said they don't mind the code sites at all, since they only promote/add benefits to myspace, so unless it's conflicting with their business and name they won't come after your site; they'd just be shooting themselves in the foot,
hope that helps

dnquest- I know you're like pretty much a genius when it comes to legal issues with websites, so am I right about what I said?

DNQuest's point is that general terms may be general terms, but they can also
be trademarked. And if they are, watch out. :-D
