Is the name hahaaol.com or aolhaha.com?![]()
Joe, you should be fine. Just use an insanity defense. :swg:
well, what can i say?
if i lose $10 and aol lose $3k, it sounds a good deal to me!
are you sure that i am going to lose the domain amerionline.com? why? where is justise?
why are you guys looked so happy? what kind of friends are you?![]()
In a nutshell - you're scr*wed as far as the name is concerned. There is no justice in this world.
Yeah you're going to lose it, but write to them and offer to transfer the name for your out of pocket costs to reg it. If they play tough sons on a bench, then string em out till they have a panel selected. Then give em the name.
I'd like to see AOHell lose a few more bucks. Of course they'd probably raise my fees to pay for it.

Or just say "I will give you the domain for free - to save you the court costs" - but make sure they sign an agreement before you give them the domain
Cough it up.
Good Luck.

. . .
aol is in business for years, they can't spend $10 to protect a domain name that they don't want others to use.
i wonder if bill gates is my boy friend, what he is going to do with aol.
crazy world, i better visit a bar tonight.
If the domain is amerionline.com, I don't see why AOL should have a guaranteed win. There are 717 pages of amerion in google and amerion.com and .net are reg'd - are these AOL as well?
DomainPairs, it all boils down to how the domain is being used. Like i mentioned in a similar thread, Joe had the following text on his website:
Amerionline.com - Welcome to free ISP future home!
This is clearly evidence of bad faith because he is providing the same exact service that America Online is [that of an ISP], from a domain that is confusingly similar to their name. Clearly bad faith.
Sorry Dragon - I didn't look at the site. I assumed that nobody would be that obvious.
i am going to buy amerionfart.com if they get amerionline.com from me.
look members handle, each has a good reason.
from your handle, read your mind.
do you think the kid is cool?
jberryhill
will you please say something?
thanks!
im sure Mr. Berryhill has better things to do than comment on pointless threads like this one. Do your comments make any sense in Chinese, or are they insane in both your native language and ours?
i think a good laywer will enjoy a challenge like this case.
amerionline has nothing to do with americaonline.
if i lose the name, it's a shame of the law.
>i think a good laywer will enjoy a challenge like this case.
Of course, starting US$5,000 ...
Profoundly influenced by #Bauhaus, @Nameslave unrepentantly embraces #Minimalism in his #multimedia portfolio. His early works include an experimental adaptation of Chekhov’s Cherry Orchard inspired at least partly by Robert Fripp. His totally irrelevant M.Ed. dissertation examines Organizational Culture and Change Management.
