    Attorney letter

Can someone give me an idea of cost for sending an attorney letter to someone who has copied one of my web sites.
I have emailed this person several times and he has taken down some of the content but I think that he thinks because I am in England and he is in the USA that he can carry on.
Also if someone can recommend an attorney.

    JBerry Hill?

    I would guess $300-$2k

But that is a very uninformed opinion.

mibut: If the person is Hosting the site in the US (with a US webhosting company), you can send the webhost a DMCA notice (lots of standard templates available for that available on the web). That takes down infringing sites very fast, typically.

    Thanks for the replies.
I had sent a DCMA notice to his host.
Just checked and the site is down.
Hopefully that is the last I will hear of this.
    Thanks again

Would you care to post a template DMCA notice or a link to one on the web?

It might be helpful to other infringed webmasters..
