Thank you for the advice… yes Thanks. I know there has to be a line between being BRAVE and being FOOLISH / STUPID! I own about 1,200 Domain Names… I am trying to SELL 1,200 Domain Names… I’m trying to make a living!
OK, WE ALL KNOW THIS: 2) We list our DNs on those auction / sales sites (you know who I mean S,A,GD) usually at a User / Retail price. Someone calls and says “my client saw and wants your URL listed on XXX for $900, I am a Web Designer – how much do you want for it? SOLD for $250!”. So if someone within our TRADE wants a certain DN, they just go to WhoIS (like DNtools etc). I have 1,200 DNs I’m trying to sell – I have made it easy for ANYONE to contact me… to buy from me.
SO YOU ASK: “Scott, Why don’t you get a Post Office box?” MY ANSWER: Why should I have to! – revert back to #1.
ANYWAY, All Chris’ WhoIS records show his address as: 15520 Jewel Avenue NO – NOT CORRECT, I KNOW IT. And phone number (remember I called HIM): some have the area code, some don’t… New York or Flushing? Common sense tells us no real difference, like where I live. Is it The Woodlands TX, Woodlands TX, Spring TX or Houston TX!
When searching for his name on Google, the following comes up:

Well, I have to say that I'm very saddened by some of the links that have been posted about nameadvertising. If he's as bad as you all say, is this not descending to his level? And I don't care what you all think of me for saying this - I'm old enough to be able to speak my mind without being afraid of any of you or having it affect any dealings I might ever have on DNForum.
I think this thread should be closed now and legal remedy sought for any injury, with proper evidence for all the charges made.

I had no idea that this guy threatens arson and threatens to kill family members of those who decide not to buy domains from him. People can only keep doing this if it's kept secret, which is what you are suggesting.
Not sure what the laws are in New York, but in this state he could go to jail for the arson threat he has posted on his own website. That's something taken very seriously.
I completely agree with you. Such threats must be taken absolutely seriously and treated in the right place, which is surely a court of law.
But posting links like those that were posted earlier on the thread only blurs the whole issue by removing the emphasis from these threats and replacing it with other issues such as apparently unsubstantiated charges of porn, sexual abuse of children, etc.
I think that this rather defeats the whole object sought by the original poster.

I think it was the original poster's intent to warn others not to do business with that person. The links posted above further support the OP's claims by showing that others have been treated in the same way before.
Since you brought it up: I think the charges of sexual abuse of children are not to be taken seriously. It appears that the people who posted those charges on the forum linked to above only did so to tarnish Chris Desouza's reputation by posting such claims and then linking to his website. (This way he will come up in search results when searching for "child molester", for example.) I don't approve of such practices, but I thought I should point it out here to avoid that those other claims won't be mixed up with the problem at hand.

i don't do adult domains. and seriously, i don't have any domain clients. i get new customers based on the names i register. once in a while i try to sell them at the forums. but that is a tough nut to crack....
that name is not bad, but it has that extra word - us. if it just was stopjerkingaround.com it would fetch a good penny. domains have to be exact keyword to sell fast. any extra letter, extra word devalues it by a lot.

Thanks, Scott. I do appreciate your motivation of warning others and that you back up your charges with the relevant evidence. I only wish others would do the same.

Not all that surprising, and Scott, i'm very sorry you have had to deal with this. Being scammed out of your money is one thing in this industry, but being threatened and verbally abused like that, on the internet or otherwise, is a totally different thing.
