    celebrity names?

    Hello

I was just wondering if a "celebrity name" domain could be reg'd and set up into a "fan forum" without having any problems.
I have one that I would like to reg but am putting it off until I look into this more. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

Check out some of these UDRP decisions to get a feel for the answer:

Anna Nicole Smith c/o CMG Worldwide v. DNS Research, Inc.
    http://domains.adrforum.com/domains/...ons/220007.htm

Dustin N. Diamond v. Max Goldberg
    http://domains.adrforum.com/domains/...ons/237446.htm

    Courtney Love v. Brooke Barnett
    http://domains.adrforum.com/domains/...ons/944826.htm

All three claims were denied. If you read through the cases you'll probably get a good feel for the issues.

    Good luck.
