They should change the name to PodPhone or something.

Ooops, just read the story on msnbc, say bye bye to iPhone and to the dream.

sidemark: PodPhone sounds corny. If I were Apple, I think they NEED that name, 1000s of blogs an magazine use it, it's imprinted on the publics minds, it is a necessity else shell a crap load of money in rebranding. I would shell out Cisco's asking price. They'll easily make it back 1st month in June. If not already from the 7% surge their stock received yesterday alone from the news.

Just in case Apple can't get it... maybe they'll want to buy JiPhone.com from me :-D. I only want half a mil.

Call me cynical, but the free publicity to come out of this for both parties will be priceless - just what you want at launch....

Pound to a penny it gets resolved with Apple continuing to use the name.
