Vidi, Vici, Veni!
Amazing. The domain was registered in 1998, the complainant filed a trademark in 2006 and still thought they had the rights to the domain simply because, well...because they thought so.
Also impressive that it was before a panel of three. I wonder how much laughing went on behind closed doors when they were deliberating?
You're right, Dave Zan, the complainant needs a real spanking but they would obviously enjoy it.
I don't think they actually "deliberate".
I think they use the 'coin flip' system majority of the time.

Two of the panelists were women. The mind boggles![]()
Now if that isn't a case of "Attempted Reverse Domain Name Hijacking" I don't know what is.
Granted, they didn't find the complaintant, but still.
I think the coin flip is for a panel of one (that still does not ring right..."a panel of one").
I believe the proper protocol for a panel of three is the "paper, rock, scissors" mandate.
Surely your not implying some "deliberate" spanking behind closed doors?
I believe blatantly so. I would love to see this play out in a real court where the complainant has to act out or provide evidence of such a claim. I think I just wrote a script for their next film project with that statement?
Low-life reverse domain hijackers like that cause the prices of aftermarket domains to go UP.
I've got more where these came from!
I'd be suprised if the panel kept a straight face through that.
Oh boy.Browsers looking for “spanking material” may well use the same or similar words to search for such content.
