    Which Domain Registrar's are breaking the World Internet LAW???

    3.7.9 Registrar shall abide by any ICANN adopted specifications or policies prohibiting or restricting warehousing of or speculation in domain names by registrars.

    I appreciate this thread. While there is a LONG list of registrars that are in breach of this provision, Netsol and GoDaddy are first to come to mind. Both of these registrars have automated auction sites that sell the expiring domain to the highest bidder.

    I would imagine the Registrar will make the argument that they are not RENEWING the expiring domain. In some instances however, they don't actually let the domain drop and the new registrant maintains the original creation date of the domain. Therefore ipso facto, in those instances the domain name has clearly been RENEWED

    which one could surmise could lead them into all manner of legal proceedings one would assume.

    Did they ever think they could get away with it?

    I call for an inquiry and audit into all registrars under the provision of this rule;

    3.7.9 Registrar shall abide by any ICANN adopted specifications or policies prohibiting or restricting warehousing of or speculation in domain names by registrars.

    I realized that Snapnames and Namejet skips the auction process on some domains which I back-ordered too.
    Not sure about this but possibly the new registrant placed a high minimum bid hence able to skip the auction process.
    You can't tell if there are other bidders in Snapnames back-order.
    Buying Cheap Pronounceable/Premium Letters LLLL.COMs.
    Buying LLL .COs & NNN .COs and Non-Premium Renewal .TVs if you are planning to drop.
    PM your domains with price. Will reply if the price is right.
