Here in Canada, I think the desirable title to have for a lawyer is "Q.C." (i.e. "Queen's Counsel"), e.g. John Smith, Q.C.
I think there was a brouhaha and they stopped giving them out at some point. My lawyer's a Q.C., though.![]()
