Tom, for the life of me I don't understand why you didn't keep copies of your script on your home computer.

I don't understand why Tom subsequently posted this:

If you break their ToS most hosts will delete all your stuff on the spot.

And $750 for 3 letter .coms - really...

I'll never forget the time I got caught screwing my best friend's wife and he kicked me out of his house and told me never to come back. Now, I had left the only copy of a manuscript for a novel I was working on under their bed. He wouldn't let me back in to retrieve it. It was a great novel, and would have been a best seller.

Every LLL.com owner gets lot of these stupid idiotic spams. Reading this made me REALLY HAPPY. I got from this clown lot of stupid emails as well. And it is great to see some complaint worked - now I will start to look into these spam headers and will be reporting it too.

Seriously... I handled an escrow transaction this week and was spammed within one hour of the domain name being transferred to my account.

Guys I threatened with legal action first thing I did, big mistake. I even emailed apologizing about that as in retrospect I know hoe stupid making ridiculous claims is.

My question was simply a genreral question, I am not mounting a legal battle. If person A mounted a legal battle, and Host A had deleted the files, what would happen.
Sorry for the confusion.

I will learn, and mve on regardless of the outcome, but hopefully I can negotiate with dreamhost and work something out. I am truly sorry for my mistakes.
