Have you ever seen a lawyer refuse money? I hope it's not improper of me to disclose that John refused to accept the amount I offered and opted for less!!!!! And I thought generous and lawyer were oxymorons. He's so far from your typical blood thirsty lawyer.
Thanks Again John for a job well done,
Bryant Jones

John is an asset to these forums. I have asked a lot of questions and learned a lot from John. Good thing about him is that he tells you the way it is......
Thanks.
John rocks your socks.
May I ask what it costs on average to protect your domain name if someone is trying to take it via WIPO or whatever other reason because they believe it belongs to them.
Probably a question you'd want to ask him in private. Use the email listed on his website.Originally Posted by byalik

I'm dealing with John on 2 matters, one being a domain that was "stolen" from me. Other than his making fun of my accent (lol) he's a great guy and knows his shit. Hopefully I'll win both cases and he can earn the title of "kickass" from me.

Does he charge alot or a fair amount and is he difficult to work with?
He is very fair in what he charges and no, not difficult at all. When I'm all pissed about some legal problem, he calms me down and makes me laugh. That is very helpful because when your pissed you can't think straight.Originally Posted by gogeorge

It was a sale that went bad and the other party refuses to return the domain to me.

I do remember you telling this story in another thread. From what I remeber, it was an adult name that you trusted them to pay for and they never did.Originally Posted by pam
No, they paid, then changed their mind, and I didn't need the bullshit so agreed to refund her money. She agreed to return the domain to me and said "no hard feelings", then 60 days later demanded money for the return of my domain.Originally Posted by DeluxeNames.com
