That network solutions receipt is valuable don't loose it. If you did pay for dns registration for a period that would include today, since 1999, that might be useful. Without paying for domain name registration services since 1999 when you registered I don't know what the legal ramifications would be now.

Even if he might not have been entitled to enter into a service agreement/contract at the age of 15 - what right does company Z have to takeover the domain ?!
As i understood, the registration contract was with networksolutions, so why should company Z have any rights to that name ?
It wasn't them having a registration contract with the domain owner, was it.
