hedgehogbooks.com in private auction now - is it safe to buy it?

    Hello,

I am participating in a private auction of hedgehogbooks.com. Is it legally safe to buy it?
Look at the archived pages: http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://...gehogbooks.com

Is it legal to buy it, then list several children books with my Amazon.com affiliate link (this site was a children bookstore)? Is it "bad faith"?

What is your step by step process on deciding whether or not to buy an expired domain with historical content?

This doesn't answer your question, but I have read a number of books on hedge hog (hedge fund) managers. I would think there is more money in the financial hedge fund side (amazon has books on hedge funds; how to start a hedge fund; etc) than on the children book sales.
